A friend wanted to try something different to celebrate his birthday, and he definitely made the right decision by choosing this restaurant. First, I think the service was a bit slow, but this was compensated for by the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. The restaurant is quite simple but cozy and charming. As for the food, all of our dishes were exquisite beyond words. We started the meal with an interesting appetizer which consisted of deep-fried pieces of chicken with three different sauces, with the red one being the most captivating due to its sweet-spicy touch. I had a lamb dish which was basically diced lamb, rice, and eggplants. The lamb was extremely tender and perfectly cooked. The rice with nuts and orange was juicy, tasty, and tremendously well-seasoned. The eggplants with their tomato sauce provided the perfect balance to the dish. All of my friends also praised the uniqueness and flavors of their dishes, making this place an excellent choice for a perfect and delicious dinner. I highly recommend...

Terrible food and an amazing RIP-OFF!!!! So I’m accustomed to ordering from either Chopin, Khorassan or dining at Lemar; unfortunately, I just moved to Bogenhausen and the only delivery option was Herat and one other. The sauces are horrendous; canned tomato sauce with a few spices added, sickly-sweet and unbalanced, bad rice, and meat portions which would probably be more generously doled out in a county jail. I ended up paying 44€ with tip, for a basic side salad and two despicable main courses, each almost inedible and with a total protein weight of 100g at the very, very most. Nice charming restaurant situated on a quiet street with lovely evening sun for outdoor serving. The waiters were kind and the atmosphere enjoyable. The food was well presented and very tasty. We had the super tender lamb in a nice tomato like sauce and served in a flatbread. As a sider we had the spinach rice. Price and quality went hand in hand. Overall the experience was great and we would come back. Why only 4 stars.
