One of the few good "real" Japanese restaurants in Munich, though you also pay a premium for it ;)
In the many years I've been visting this restaurant everything always tastet great, except the Wagyu which was only "ok" (but I'm also used to the A5 Wagyu from speciality restaurants in Japan...)
The service from the Japanese speaking staff is always top notch, though at their old location they sometimes had english speaking staff that was lacking. (The female German waiter last time gave her best to speak in Japanese which was kinda cute ^^)
The ambiente at their new place isn't as good as it was at their old place but it is still ok (though considering the price of the food I still wish for better ;)
!!! Unfortunately people with allergene should be carful though, I noticed that some dishes aren't correctly listing all allergen that are...

I felt it was good value and quality for German standards but it wouldn’t be acceptable to Japanese standards. The dessert was delicious and mochi was nice in...

The ice cream dessert was also impressive, definitely on par with what I’ve had in Japan. Overall, very authentic with relatively good service. Sake tasting was also interesting.
One small downside: the salmon caviar was of average quality and didn’t quite match the level of the other ingredients.
It is a bit overpriced, but that’s somewhat expected in Munich – it’s not Asia after all. That said, the atmosphere felt more like an Izakaya due to the dim lighting. Also, over half the guests were wearing suits, which made the vibe a...
