Koi Sushi & More — Restaurant in Munich

We've eaten here twice, once was delivery and once was dine in. Both times we had sushi and it was amazing. What I loved about their delivery, is that the quality of their food didn't change. What I notice about some sushi places is that when you order take out, they make the rolls smaller to fit the box. Not here. They literally give you a giant cake box so that you still get the best quality and quantity sushi. Amazing!

I also tried another one of their dishes, the teriyaki rice bowl, which is the reason for my 4 star rating. I ordered it with chicken and it didn't look right. The color was off putting not to mention the dish was cold and lukewarm at the same time. Not sure if was made fresh. Was giving microwave vibes.

Also beware the place is really small for dine in, like only 10ish seats available. Not a bad thing just something to note.

Netter Service, aber... Wir warteten über 1 Stunde auf unser Essen obwohl wir die einzigen Gäste, und das an einem Samstag um 18 Uhr waren. Während andauernd die take out bestellungen raus gingen. Sushi Qualität war leider nicht gut. Hotate/Kammmuscheln hatten alle Gefrierbrand und waren sandig, also einfach nur aufgetaut (und wohl deshalb die Wartezeit). Surimi roch. Miso war total versalzen und dann heißer billig Sake, Autsch. Beim Rest der Sushi Platte hab ich besser und günstiger Supermarkt Sushi gegessen. Dafür haben wir dann am Ende noch einmal eine Miso Suppe bekommen, siehe oben. ok... Ist halt keinJapaner. Deshalb auch zwei Punkte da der Papaya Salat für mich ganz ok war und die Summer Roll (ähnlich einer) sehr gut. Also unbedingt die Vietnamesisch/Thai Karte konsultieren wenn es Mal sein muss.

Die anderen Bewertungen sind ja so gut also kann es sein dass es ein schlechter Tag des Sushi Chef war, oder halt die geringe Erwartungshaltung der...
