L'Osteria München Pasing — Restaurant in Munich

Let’s start with the positives, the ambience is very upbeat, the decor is warm and welcoming. That’s it, that’s where the positives end. The staff is either inexperienced and easily overwhelmed or just doesn’t care about diners, or all three. Honestly, I have received better service and more warmth at KVR! We had to wait more than 45 mins for the staff to take our order, and then the first thing to trice at the table were desserts!!! We were sitting near the kitchen, so could see that the service staff took 10 mins to complete other tasks (take orders, collect payments) after our food was prepared, letting it get cold, before serving it, even though the kitchen staff had alerted them that the food was ready. And I almost forgot to mention about the crumbs on the chairs and the below average food. All in all, not an experience I would recommend for anyone. If you like L’Osteria, better go to the one at Leopoldatrasse or find another Italian place, but don’t waste time or money on the...

Food was great, but service is simply abysmal. Would have expected better. After waiting for over 1h and not even beverages were delivered to the table, the waiter says there's no order from our table because his colleague is a trainee and might have forgotten (although the colleague later doesn't agree he is a trainee). When paying for the bill of 57,60 eur, the waiter insist that tip MUST be paid, and when not receiving any, he made the statement that in Germany it is a law that we need to pay extra 2% for using the table. I've asked for the menu, so he could show us were this is stated... he not only refused but also refused to give me a receipt of the amout paid. Also I was told by the waiter to never come back to "his" establishement. I would hope that L'Osteria realizes that refusing a receipt upon payment is actually tax fraud. I decided to not pursue this matter in the restaurant after being shouted (by the waiter, not the manager or any responsible person) that I was not...

Finally having Losteria opened in Pasing!! I am a big fan in other branches here in Munich and it is wonderful now to have it near home and being able to deliver to home!! As the first time trying in this Pasing branch, we tried the pre-order service and ordered one night before, and tonight it was delivered EXACTLY on time, really impressive!!! Really glad it could be my birthday dinner tonight and thank you so much for reading my message and I was so surprised seeing the presents from you!! And a warm happy birthday from the delivery man. I really love the motorbike-styles pizza cutter it is super cute!! Food tastes exactly like in restaurants and still served hot, these bbq chicken pizza and conchiglie di flume are always my favourite and they tasted amazing as usual.
