One of the best restaurants focussed on steaks! We have been there midweeks without reservation. Just checked availability half an hour before. Staff guided us kindly to our table. All hygienic rules (distancing, cleaning, masks etc.) were followed properly - thanks! The location is quiet, fancy (urban-french with some retro and some contemporary aspects) and there is plenty of space between the tables - love it (good for privacy :-)). The team was very friendly and helpful, answered all our questions. Water was filled up when glass was nearly empty, well done. The menu is a huge plate presented on a tripod, which is a very creative and special way. There are some sharing meals and sone special meat dishes. To sum up, a good balance between meat, vegetables and sweet dishes. We prefer less meals on a menu, but better quality and freshness, so we were pleased to see this here. You definitely should try the home made ginger lemonade. Very intense. The garlic bred is also very tasty and a good side dish. We loved the quality of the meat (flank steak), and the fact, that it was cooked on point. Compliments to the kitchen team again. And now, enjoy some of our impressions. We'll be back :-)

We had a dinner for two. The appetizer platter was really good. With tuna, teriyaki beef, beef tartar and guacamole. All of them were very well seasoned and prepared. As a main course, we shared a chateaubriand, accompanied with truffel mashed potatoes and creamed parmesan spinach. Both were very good, beef was... let's say it's very ok if you consider it's European meat. Don't expect real taste. Just order good sauces to spice it up (we ordered a Bernaise and demi Glace, and both were excellent). We ordered an extra to the menu: foie gras to make it Rossini style. Unfortunately, it was overcooked, therefore very dry. We paired our meal with and argentine Malbec-cabernet from Mendoza, Puro by Dieter Maier. Perfect to our order and absolutely reasonable price. The dessert for sharing was a platter with homemade ice cream, a creme brulle duo, and a lot of fruit. Beautiful composition and very delicious. The service was completely unattentive (which was never the case previously in La Boheme). First he brought us the wrong wine, then a warm one, then a very cold one. Every time we wanted something, we really had to jump from our chairs in order to be seen. He was never paying attention. We paid around € 300 for two. It was too expensive for so many flaws.

What an experience, well and truly and it has been a while since I enjoyed a full flawless dinning experience like what we had this weekend. We were greeted by the very friendly team, assigned a waiter for the evening. Food was recommended to us, the vibe and music were incredible that complimented the food and drinks. The menu was a trip on its own, with the variety of exciting flavours and sharing platters one can dig in. Drinks were on point, and fresh. We decided to start with some beautiful cheese. We then went for an exquisite steak 🥩 dish, and boy that did not disappoint. It was an experience to watch our steak juiced with bourbon, and fired up with rosemary and spices. It tasted incredible, we enjoyed every bite of it. We then ordered some dessert and we were surprised by one, since we were celebrating that evening. We decided to treat our chef with a glass of wine, she came out and thanked and cheered with us. This was a lovely gesture you can request. Overall, we highly recommend this place if you want an unforgettable evening and a beautiful treat. Enjoy

Dinner was fabulous! Was there for a birthday party with 4 friends and plating, presentation and flavors were great! Very clean and well designed interior elements. Service started off very strong with waiter accommodating all dietary and allergy requests. Everything was humming along with drinks, food and check-ins from the waiter right up until we finished dinner... then the servers pretty much ghosted our table. It took way to long to get desert, and the bill took even longer. We also had to ask several waiters for the any action on getting the bill. It took an extra hour for the desert and bill. Which is too bad since we were so happy until then. I would say this was a big drag on an otherwise lovely evening. One more thing for you to consider before booking here is that for tables of 6 or more people there is a set menu. Which is almost impossible when you have people with dietary restrictions or allergies. Overall a very nice restaurant with delicious food... but when you are paying five star prices you should always get five star service.

Leider müssen wir von einem höchst unprofessionellen und rechtlich fragwürdigen Geschäftsgebaren berichten. Uns wurden „leistungsgebundene“ Gutscheine ausgestellt, die nach nur wenigen Monaten plötzlich nicht mehr eingelöst werden konnten. Stattdessen wurden wir genötigt, pro Gast 10 € zusätzlich zu zahlen, um die Gutscheine überhaupt noch nutzen zu dürfen. Laut der Verbraucherzentrale ist dieses Vorgehen unzulässig. Dennoch setzt La Boheme seine fragwürdigen und offenbar rechtswidrigen Methoden weiter fort und betreibt so Abzocke auf Kosten der Kunden. Zitat der Verbraucherschutzzentrale: Beschreibt der Gutschein hingegen eine bestimmte Leistung, also zum Beispiel eine "Fußmassage", sind zwischenzeitliche Preiserhöhungen irrelevant, da der Gutschein nur für eine "Leistung" und nicht für einen "Wert" ausgestellt wurde. P.S. Wir werden La Boheme keine weiteren Kredite in Form von Vorauszahlungen für später nicht mehr gültig einlösbare Gutscheine gewähren. ==>> ERWIDERUNG zu La Bohèmes Stellungnahme von 22.10.2024: Leider ist es bedauerlich, dass La Bohème weiterhin auf den „Kulanzaspekt“ verweist und dabei die rechtlichen Rahmenbedingungen ignoriert, die klar gegen das Geschäftsgebaren sprechen. Die Verbraucherzentrale hat eindeutig klargestellt, dass sogenannte „leistungsgebundene“ Gutscheine, wie sie in unserem Fall ausgestellt wurden, nicht auf Preisänderungen anwendbar sind, da sie für eine konkrete Leistung und nicht für einen Geldwert ausgestellt wurden. Die nachträgliche Forderung von 10 € pro Person für die Einlösung der Gutscheine ist daher unzulässig und eine Verletzung des Vertragsrechts. Ein Unternehmen wie La Bohème, das die Rechte seiner Kunden auf diese Weise ignoriert, handelt illegal, unabhängig von einer vermeintlich „kundenfreundlichen“ Politik. Zwar behauptet La Bohème in seiner Antwort, die Gutscheine würden „kein Ablaufdatum“ haben, dennoch wurden uns mehrfach die Einlösung nur unter Zahlung eines zusätzlichen Betrags ermöglicht, was nach Ansicht der Verbraucherzentrale einen klaren Rechtsverstoß darstellt. Ein Gutschein, der ohne klare Einschränkungen verkauft wird, darf nicht plötzlich mit nachträglichen Bedingungen versehen werden, um ihn nutzen zu können. Die Argumentation, dass Preissteigerungen in der Gastronomie normal seien und auf Verständnis der Gäste gehofft wird, mag in anderen Fällen zutreffen, hat aber in Bezug auf die Einlösung von Gutscheinen keinerlei rechtliche Relevanz. Gutscheine, die für eine spezifische Leistung ausgestellt wurden, sind von nachträglichen Preiserhöhungen unberührt, da der Kunde bereits für diese Leistung bezahlt hat. Daher bleibt die Vorgehensweise von La Bohème nach wie vor intransparent und rechtlich angreifbar. Die Missachtung der bestehenden Verbraucherrechte zeigt, dass das Unternehmen sein Geschäftsmodell auf Kosten der Kunden stützt, was nicht nur unprofessionell ist, sondern potenziell auch strafrechtliche Konsequenzen haben kann. Besonders alarmierend 🚨 ist, dass bereits systematisch zahlreiche Kunden geschädigt wurden und diese fragwürdigen Geschäftspraktiken weiterhin fortgeführt werden.

We ordered the sharing dinner. Starters was excellent, except there was one condiment that was too salty. For the main dish, we got black angus steak. The taste was good and we got the steak medium rare as we ordered, but the steak was blend without the sauce. It would be nice if the steak at least got the basic seasoning. The special thing is that the steak was flammed in front of us and I find it is exceptionally good, giving us an special experience. Bearnaise sauce was really nice, Trüffeljus need a little bit more seasoning. We couldn't complain a lot about the dessert, except that some of the fruits are too sour. Creme brulee, sorbet, and the cheesecake, we enjoyed everything. The waitress were friendly, explaining the food nicely when it was served, even though I felt like the waitress rushed a little bit while explaining.
