Bicicletta & Terrasse — Restaurant in Munich

Andaz is synonymous with quality and the F&B outlets are no exception. We stopped by to grab some coffee and brunch.

Interior decor is the highlight here. The bicycle theme works very well with the concept of coffeehouse. Bean quality and roast are good, producing really smooth and aromatic brews.

Food was also good, with the quality of ingredients taking the centre stage. However, I found my grilled vegetable sandwich a bit too salty, and gave the feedback to the service staff. She immediately wanted to offer me an extra croissant and other pastries to make up for it, which was an extremely nice gesture.

Service staff are really the stars here. Friendly from the minute you step in and extremely attentive. Besides the positive experience above, I accidentally dropped my spoon and before I could even bend down to pick it up, the service staff was already beside me with a new spoon.

The only think I can pick on would be the seats at the counter: they are definitely high end bicycle seats, but they serve as a painful reminder that I am too fat and probably need to lose weight asap... However, that wouldn't be enough to stop me from coming back regularly to get my caffeine fix.

Update I have been visiting this place for almost 10 times now, and the service, food and coffee quality have remained top notch and consistent. A worthy mention would be the pâtisserie, as they all taste excellent and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. Also, it is commendable that they only use unrefined sugars for everything, and they have such an amazing variety of the sugars. Plus points for being environmentally friendly for using...

Location: it is at Leopoldstrsse, in the Andaz hotel on the grand floor. There is a parking garage at front of the cafe and you could park along the street too. Tram station is at the front of hotel too. (5)

Environment: it is a great concept of bikes, very morden and Stylish. The inside area is not big but cozy. The outside area is bigger, unfortunately it is cloudy today. (4.5)

Food: so far I only taste the coffee, but the cakes look yummy and I would love to try it next time. Meanwhile, it seems they offer health lunch box as well. On top of that, you could book a birthday cake or wedding cake or any kind of cake. I took some photos, they are all excellent!! (5)

Service: in general it is a self-service place, but the stuffs are very nice. I think it align the stander of the five-star hotel. (5)

Price: normal prices for a cafes shop. I didn’t have the feeling they are more expensive. (4.5)

Overall: 4.8 I would recommend it as a good place...

Bicicletta is the Place to be, for a quick take a way or sit down retreat.Tasty fresh pastries from chef Shinaz,very creative and full of great ideas.

Bicicletta offers a variety of freshly squeezed juices,homemade icecream and soberts,smoothies, grab and go sandwiches, etc

They also have (to good to go) boxes which I find really good in saving food and saving cost.

Lunch is also served at a good variety both hot and cold.
