Cafe Good is hands down one of my favorite finds in the city. It’s a cozy little spot with a big heart and a brilliant mission: all their delicious food is made using fruits and vegetables rescued from food waste. Every week, they head to the market to save as much produce as they can, and there’s even a sign on the wall showing exactly how many kilos of each item were saved—such a cool and inspiring touch!
The tropical vibe, friendly atmosphere, and the incredibly warm and welcoming owner make the place feel like more than just a cafe. She took the time to chat with me, explain the whole idea behind the cafe, and share some eye-opening info about food waste. It’s rare to find a place that’s not only tasty but truly thoughtful in its concept.
The food? Absolutely amazing. I had among other things the pistachio croissant—freshly made, still warm, and out of this world. 😍 The breakfast and brunch options are varied, healthy, and packed with flavor. And don’t skip the smoothies—they’re vibrant, yummy, and full of rescued goodness.

Read moreA small cute cafe opposite the Andaz with limited menu. Veg and vegan options available. Smoothies looked good. Friendly staff. Based on a few previous reviews, my husband and I decided to try this mom & pop style cafe for breakfast. I ordered the avocado toast with the fried egg on the side. The bread was hard and certainly not toasted. The avocado was mashed well but was simply blant. The crushed dried tomatoes sprinkled over the mashed avocado were brittle and difficult to chew. Almost annoying! My husband ordered the cinnamon pancakes. The presentation was far better than the taste. The small pancakes had chewy edges and were dry in the center. The cappuccino came in cute cups and saucers but was almost cold. Overall, it was a poor breakfast experience. The bread in Germany is really good, but this toast...
