La Burrita — Restaurant in Munich

This place gets my highest recommendation. Gotta try it if you haven't!

I went to La Burrita with my husband and another friend three days ago. It was my third visit, and it definitely won't be my last!

Our server remembered us from our last visit, at least a month or two ago -- super impressive. We got the chips with two dips (salsa and guacamole). All three of us are from Austin, Texas, where we enjoyed many excellent Tex-Mex meals together. We all agreed that this place would do very well there. The salsa is seriously some of the best I've ever had, which is a HUGE compliment. Likewise, the entrees and margaritas are really excellent -- complex flavor profiles, everything well-balanced. Spicy but not too spicy.

This restaurant was just across the road from our accomodation in Munich so thought we’d give it a try. We didn’t have a booking and came in during a busy dinner rush so we’re seated at the bar. We ordered the OG burrito and the chicken burrito with a side of sweet potato fries. The food was delicious and I would definitely recommend visiting this beautifully decorated modern restaurant for dinner! You should try to book ahead if you can. A couple of points that can be improved - 1. We asked for some tap water and were told this was not possible. Seems a little strange not to serve water. 2. We repeatedly asked to be moved to a table of one became available however were told that they were all reserved. If I could give ZERO stars I would've ! We got there at 7pm, the waitress only took our order for drinks at 7.25pm. By 8pm, not only we didn't get our drinks but also she didn't come over to take our order for food. We kept calling for someone to serve us and they replied "we'll come right away". The waitress was very confused about the menu 😶 all 3 of us are vegan and we specifically ordered from the vegan menu they offer. We waited another half an hour for our food to come to only discover we were offered one vegetarian quesadillas. We sadly realized that by ourselves after eating and tasting the cow cheese 😡 The service is awful, the kitchen's attention to the custumer's dietary restrictions and allergies is also non existant!
