I can't express what this place means to me, they have accurately named it as "Nepal Haus" - it is true , it's not a restaurant, it's a home where homemade food is served. After coming to Munich , I tried many Indian restaurants, but what I get here is not present anywhere in Munich -

Warm welcome with respect and love , having always a smile on their face

Food that is in "real authentic and Indian and Nepalese "

Atmosphere - the have they carry their culture in this little place is praise worthy, decorated with emotions .

Price - balanced with average price.

Quantity of food is enough as per price

Quality - believe me - once you have visited them , you will always go there.

The touch of our motherland is carried in food with spices. I can write a essay being emotional what this place is.

Instead of going to other restaurants to get a taste of India , I would prefer this place always.

Healthy food means healthy body and happy mind and mood. What else one want !

Kudos to the PPL carrying this legacy of food and spreading love to their...

Had a very horrible experience at the restaurant. It’s not just about the food. He denied my wife from feeding my baby inside the restaurant when exactly only 1 table was occupied on a Sunday evening. When asked for baby chair, he said can’t put it out, eventually had to go inside and bring out ourselves Last but not the least, momos were Okayish, asked for some chilli oil, he added some pickle into the existing momos sauce. Nepalese fried rice added with Zucchini and absolutely bland, when provided a feedback, I was told it’s as per German standards and also Nepalese standard (don’t know how it matches up) The chowmean (vegetable noodles) , were made of cheaply available pasta noodles , absolutely no taste but he is was quite persistent to say irrelevant things and also saying “I wouldn’t suggest you noodles”

If it’s really of German taste, why put it on a Nepalese menu. And after that how can it be Nepalese heritage. Highly disappointed after paying almost 70 euros...

Wonderful little family-run place! Very friendly service and no over the top kitsch. If you want to know how home cooked food from many parts of the Indian subcontinent might taste like, you have to go there and order the Dalbhat. That is what I ordered although my friend who is a regular there highly recommended the momos as well. The food is tasty and soothing, the ingredients fresh and not drowned in spices and grease like they tend to be in other restaurants. And yes Nepal is another country but it is part of the Indian subcontinent so there are a lot of similarities in the cuisine, especially with the north-eastern part of India. So some of you, even Indians, might find this kind of food not spicy enough! But those of you who are wary of Indian food, should try this place, and know that this is how many of us eat at home. Although I have to say we eat three times as much rice usually. The ratio of rice/bread to veg and protein is the reverse of how people eat here in the West.

Very unique food with friendly service! I personally had never had Nepalese before, so this was new for me. I would describe the flavors like a mix between authentic Chinese and Indian food. Very yummy! From the dishes I tried, the momos were by far my favorite. Although similar to Chinese dumplings, their flavor profile was more akin to Indian curry spices and are definitely what I would recommend to get here (I went with chicken). I was somewhat let down by the chicken dish with coconut rice, but my girlfriend seemed to to like it a lot so don't be put off by what I think. But I just wish it had a little more oomph to it. Still a great experience and definitely nice to have tried at least once! Prices are fairly high, with main dishes being around 15€. Not worth is as an everyday meal, but worth it as a unique experience.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nepal Haus and I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience. The menu was carefully curated, and every item was prepared with a meticulous attention to detail that truly elevated the dining experience. Each bite was bursting with flavor and the presentation was artful. In particular, I would highly recommend trying the Macha Bhat, which was a real standout. The combination of flavors and textures was simply divine in every extras serves, and I found myself savoring every mouthful. If you're looking for a dining experience that is both delicious and memorable, then this is definitely the place to be.
