Unfortunately it didnât meet my expectations at all. We arrived at 10PM (one hour before closing), the lady approached us and after we asked whether we can eat, left without saying a word. After coming back she said that we can get some food if we order fast. We had barely time to view the packed menu. The Jasmin tea was sweetened even though not mentioned in the menu. The spring rolls soaked in grease (more than should be) and the taste not what you would expect from vegetable spring rolls. The curry was sweet as well, watery and served with udon noodles in a bowl making it difficult to eat which was ok because you didnât want to eat it anyways. The pancake with tofu was tasteless and salty. The staff brought the food but not the cutlery. They were already cleaning the place next to us making noise. The service also didnât know what we ordered so that we had to tell them and you cannot pay by card - cash only. The door to the restaurant was open and the cold air coming in didnât make the experience pleasant at all. I would not recommend coming here for delicious vegan food. Visit Ha Veggie - Vietnamese Cuisine instead where the staff and food is great. In my opinion, nobody who has eaten proper Asian food before, would give this restaurant five stars. For a newly opened place I would expect more efforts in...
Read moreWe were searching for a vegan restaurant nearby during our stay in Munich and found this one. On reaching there, we came to know that itâs a Vietnamese cuisine and we havenât been to one in our lifetime. We wanted to try their menu, as we were very hungry and had walked all the way to this place for more than one kilometre. We requested the server to explain the menu items after explaining our situation. She was polite but couldnât explain as she wasnât fluent in English. We somehow figured out the menu and I ordered for a modest soup going by the price point as wasnât clear about other items and my partner ordered a bowl imagining it will be large enough to put out her hunger. Mine turned out to be excellent with fresh vegetables and couple of very tasty dim sums floating in it. My partnerâs bowl wasnât that great as the sauce base was sweet and she could not eat (thrice price of my item - mine was about 6 euros and hers was just shy of 20. Anyways, we are to be partly blamed as we werenât having any known of the items in the menu. Ambiance was fantastic and the service was excellent. Had dining area dispersed both outside (patio) and inside. Had we had a thorough knowledge, probably, we could have enjoyed more. Still, we felt that the price is too high, especially for the bowl my...
Read moreI wish I could, with good conscience, give this place more stars...because it's vegan & it's in my neighborhood and they serve red Thai curry, one of my all-time favorite dishes. When it first opened, I was really looking forward to this being our new go-to vegan Asian place, BUT the service is sooooo slow, like incredibly slow, the slowest service I've ever experienced in Munich....and I'm not about to be bribed into a good review just because everything they serve is garnished with Gerbera Daisy flowers. Which, to be fair, Gerbera Daisy flowers are technically edible, but did not impress me so much. The food was standard Asian that can easily be found elsewhere in the city. I wish they would spend their flower-budget money on training their staff to be more efficient and faster. I've given this place a chance, I've been there 3 times now and every time they have taken forever to seat us, took over 40 minutes to get drinks and food to the table, (and this is with reservations I made, I didn't just walk in), the orders were mixed up (they would bring our table a dish that wasn't ordered) and to top it off, they took forever to bring the bill. Do these vegans need some protein to get their brains working? Or are they missing some...
