Summary: they are currently having the strong (dark) beer festival. Live music and nice ambience on weekdays, crazy on weekends. Food and beerare tasty. Limited variety and expensive. Bring cash. Details: get ready for some German dancing on the table ambience. On weekdays a band comes at 7 pm and makes everyone go nuts. You need to reserve a table way ahead of time and come between 4 and 5 pm to claim it. On weekdays they are not fully booked so walk ins also work. The entrance costs 14.5€ (can be payed by card), 2€ go to the restaurant and 12.5€ buys you the fisrt 1L beer. Yes, it is very expensive and you can only pay cash inside. You only have a choice of dark or light beer. The others are radler or alcohol free beers. The collection of food is not great, but good for a place like this. (I am only talking about the biergarten, not sure if the restaurant has a different menu). They have a burger, ribs, a cllection of wurst, schnitzel and a sampler which i recommend. The sampler has a great variety and can be ordered for one person or for three persons.

A modern, Bavarian restaurant with an excellent ambience. The beer served here is also brewed at the location. We were a group of 6 and called for a Beer Sampler (5 beers including the Helles, Dark, Weiss, and 2 Bocks). The Dark beer was a welcome change from the heavier, creamier versions available with other brewers. For mains we called for the Fish & Chips (average), Thai Green Curry (good but a tad bit salty), Braised Veal Shoulder Ossobuco (must try!) and the Wiener Schnitzel (must try). All the mains were presented really well (not so common in a Bavarian restaurant!). You also have the option to order Spareribs post 15:00 hours on all days & 12:00 hours on Sundays. For desserts, we shared a Kaiserschmarrn (average). The service was extremely warm and friendly and fairly quick despite the place being full. The pricing a on the higher side, but definitely in line with the vibe of the place. Enjoyed our overall experience and would definitely come back again!

Managed to get a table with the family on a busy Wednesday night, the place was packed to the rafters! The staff told us we could seat indoors without a reservation. The staff was very friendly and helped us knowing that we were foreigners. We asked for tap water but our waitress politely told us that it was not customary for free here and that we had to pay. Attentive and would come by to the table even though we were not seated near the main dining area! The food was also great, I took the venison knuckle because it was something back home does not really have and it was delicious and soft! Price wise might be pricier than usual but not overly. Their brewed beer was also delicious and could really taste the sweetness of the wheat. Would recommend if you are around the area for at least a pint!

My first visit for a team dinner. Paulaner has an international presence and I was expecting the same Paulaner, but this particular Paulaner impressed me most with the fusion of modern high end interior, yet staying true to typical German brewery restaurants. So thumbs up for the atmosphere! The food served lived up to the concept - it looked good and tasted good. Prices are I had the classic Münchner Schnitzel (different in preparation from Wiener Schnitzel) and the Zwickl. The restaurant is a bit off the "beaten track" but has a nice view over Munich and is certainly a lively place to visit in the summer! Prepare also to pay a premium price for the premium experience.

Great beer garden at the former Paulaner brewery. Exterior design is beautiful, staff is friendly, service quick, cosy location. The food quality is exceptional. Prices are a bit higher but acceptable for quality and quantity served. The outside beer garden area is divided into self-service (beer garden) and table service (normal restaurant) sections. The normal restaurant is also good, all the food is certified organic (Naturland) with changing seasonal dishes at good quality. Prices here are also a bit higher than average but acceptable. Staff was very friendly, service quick. Interior a mix of modern and traditional style, table service only.
