pavesi Caffé — Restaurant in Munich

I went there during the week around 12, I wanted to do few things on the laptop, but a woman approached me saying “Laptop is not liked here, you can sit only one hour”. What? The place was not even that busy and there were people there with laptops. I could understand if it was a place in a rural area or in the deep woods where the purpose is to connect with nature, but It’s a cafe in a university district in one of the biggest cities in Germany! Let people do their work or make a sign at the entry with crossed laptop and wifi sign so that everyone is aware before ordering. Also the way it was communicated was very unpleasant. The coffee was good but I did not feel welcomed there so I just chugged it and left. I truly don’t understand why they make this funny rule. What if I bring a book and sit there for 5 hours reading it? Will I be forced to leave? Or is reading “Twilight” more “wholesome” than reading a research paper about sociology...

Coffee is good but Service didn't meet my expectation. At 8:30 am in the morning during the week, nobody was sitting inside the Café, and I had to write only one Email urgently from my Laptop as I couldn't enter my office because of the key trouble. The owner/Staff told me very unfriendly that it is not allowed to open Laptop in this Café. I have never heard about the Café where you can not even open Laptop. Agree if someone stay longer than 2 hours with 1 Cappuccino to work there under the crowed situation ,but I bought 1 Cappuccino to write just 1 Email from my Laptop and he didn't allow me to do that. Will never visit again. There are thousands Café around there where you can freely do any...

Super disappointing coffee. In particular that is a shame given the super nice counter sunk espresso machine. However, the problem is systematic as the beans the use are simply bad — objectively roasted way too dark. The dark espresso at other places close by is simply better. Not to mention places that serve light roasts. At this price point I’d expect specialty coffee beans. Barista skills seem sufficient. That is certainly not the bottle neck to good coffee at this place. Please rethink your coffee purchasing strategy. It’s 2023 and many ppl do not simply accept bad coffee anymore. In particular a local roaster that might fit your own...
