As a big fan of Thai food, I was excited to try this place after reading so many great reviews. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to expectations.

Starting with the positives: the restaurant has a cozy ambiance with nice Thai-inspired decor, and the service was quick and friendly.

However, the food fell short, especially considering the price. While it still had Thai flavors, it wasn’t particularly impressive. The Pad Thai was average, the shrimp didn’t taste very fresh, the beef salad was overly salty, and the pineapple fried rice lacked depth and was a bit bland. For this quality, it would be more acceptable at a casual Imbiss spot, and in fact, I’ve had better Thai food at some Imbiss places. Given that we paid €80 for two people, I expected a higher standard, both in taste and presentation, which felt somewhat messy.

With so many other Thai restaurants in Munich, I wouldn’t really recommend this one to those looking for truly authentic and...

I tried many different entrees here and they were all delicious, fresh and unique. The food is so good here that describing what was commendable would take too long and be too laborious. Instead I will just name a couple.

The spring rolls came as 5 small 2 bite size pieces. The flavor was no like other spring rolls I have tried but rather smoky with a hint of scotch. The sauce was also delicious. Just order it and find out.

The duck was very surprising. Even at some of top restaurants in the world, duck can be Chewy and gamey. Here if was soft, juicy with no sharp gamey overtones. Get this one too.

In this mass of good food there are some disappointments. The service needs improvement. It should not take 10 minutes to drop the check off at the table.

Lastly the Thai Tea is to be avoided. It is simply too sweet. I even ordered with less milk and still it was too sweet.

Even with these slight misgivings, this place is a strong contender for top...

Firstly I have to say the staff are so friendly and very accommodating. We went with our 5 month old baby and they found us a lovely spot where he could sit with us and lie down. Now the food was exceptional. The Papaya Salad was enough for 3 or 4 people and tasted like anything I have had in Bangkok. The crispy duck on red Thai sauce was fantastic. So much duck and so much flavour. The chicken masaman didn't dissapoint on flavour or portion size. My only improvement would be a bit more potatoe in the dish. Overall a great meal and well worth a visit if in the area.

we had food from the Mittagsmenu, and considering the price, it’s really worth it! we got appetizer alongside the main dish. we tried Pad Thai + fried rice with shrimps. the sourness of the Pad Thai was really strong and dominant, which didn’t really match my taste. but i enjoyed the fried rice. the rice was really soft. the soup and frühlingsrolle were also great. the staff were very nice and friendly. i also liked the retro/old vibe. we didn’t have to wait at all since we visited on a weekday during lunch time.
