Phenomenal. I wish there would be a 6th star to give. After our first visit (Holzfällersteak, Kaiserschmarn) we've immediately booked a table for the next day (Wiener Zwiebelrostbraten, Apfelküchlein mit Vanilleeis) and we were never happier. The price/value ratio is insane, the food looks and tastes great, and the portions are for grown ups. The ambience and design is authentic, and the staff is super nice. The beers are also great, multiple sorts available from tap (Franziskaner, Löwenbrau) and more from bottles (alcohol free as well). 100% recommended to anyone who likes food made with heart and soul. Extra tips: 1) I suggest that you book in advance, as it's always full of guests - with a good reason. 2) not wheelchair accessible 3) not for vegans

The place wasn’t crowded when I came. The waitress was very kind and all smiles. We asked for an English menu and she gave us one. But the meal in English menu was different from the German menu. Twice we tried to order food from the English menu and it’s always unavailable. We ended up just choose something from the German menu (zwiebelfleisch and scharfe bratwurst). The food we ordered taste good and really great paired with the weissbier.

Traditional German restaurant serving German classics. I ate the schnitzel and it was very good. The interior decor is typical German style. The clientele was of an older nature and the lack of music did affect the overall atmosphere. The service was very good and the server communicated well in English. The entrance is not overly inviting it was difficult to tell if the restaurant was actually open.

Ho provato ad andare a mangiare in questa piccola birreria bavarese un martedì senza prenotazione. Ahimè era strapiena. Giovedì previa prenotazione eseguita alla 16.00 del giorno stesso per le 19.00 sono riuscito a prenotare un tavolo per due. Abbiamo voluto provare alcuni piatti tipici che ci mancavano della cucina bavarese ed abbiamo contornato il tutto con birra del luogo. Il locale si presenta famigliare e carino, lo stile tipicamente bavarese. Non aspettatevi di trovare turisti, è un luogo per gente del luogo. Questo lo rende più prezioso e raccomandato. Abbiamo preso tre piatti tipici in due persone da condividere. Le quantità sono abbondanti e i piatti di ottima qualitá casareccia. I prezzi sono sotto la media di Monaco e dunque abbiamo speso una somma irrisoria. Il servizio valido e rapido. La signora che gestisce la sala è attenta e sempre presente. Se venite a Monaco e volete provare un'esperienza da Bavaresi non potete non passare da qui! 5 Stelle!

Ristorante già provato in passato in una zona residenziale, mi ero trovato molto bene, fuori dal giro di turisti e sopratutto vero ristorante bavarese. Incomincio la recensione dalla cordialità di tutto il personale, la pulizia del locale, il tutto in un ambiente familiare e confortevole. Non avevo prenotato (eravamo in 8 pesone) e ci hanno fatto accomodare immediatamente. Un apprezzamento molto positivo al cameriere che non ha esitato a spiegarci con pazienza tutti i vari piatti nel menu pur avendo il ristorante pieno. Tutti i commensali hanno apprezzato i piatti (abbondanti) arrivati al tavolo, la mia spalla di bovino in umido era deliziosa, birra locale a completare una serata molto piacevole, spesa onesta per quanto mangiato. Complimenti tornerò ancora volentieri.
