The hospitality, for a supposed to be a fine dining place (as it looks like from the interior, that it’s not a simple Asian street restaurant), was disappointing.
First, the unfriendliness greetings at the reception made me felt like I made a mistake for not making a reservation and was ‘granted’ a seat, and I also felt like receiving ‘sure you can afford?’ kinda look.
Second, I ordered a starter (vegetarian spring rolls and Aperol Spritz) and told the waitress (the same woman who approached me a the reception) that I would like to have the main dish (this sweet sour crispy beef with veggies) some time after I’m done with the starter, but the main dish came right away before I even finished half of my starter. I’m now not sure if they really understand the concept of dining.
Thirdly, while I was enjoying my starter, I was with my handy (I do post reviews of recommended places in Munich). A waiter came to me and said: “give me your handy come on!” as if he was talking to a little girl. I simply thought he would like to help taking my picture. He was trying to make a joke. But it actually ruined my appetite, and I started to feel uncomfortable sitting there that made me just quickly finished my meal, took half of my portion home (while my previous plan was to have a complete dinner till the dessert, I had already had some options in mind when I read their menu).
While having my meals, nor after, nobody came to me and asked: “ist Alles in Ordnung?” , the standard courtesy in a good restaurant (here in Munich).
When I paid, including the tips (standard tips as in Germany when you dine in), the waitress didn’t say thank you at all.
Though my spring rolls and crispy beef tasted good enough (typical though, nothing extraordinary), and I liked it sitting under endless lanterns, however, I don’t think I want to come back to dine...

We gave the benefit of doubt maybe it was the wind (lol) and still proceeded to enter and wait to be seated. Once seated, waitress with glasses already looked angry to serve us. She didn’t come to our table and assisted all other tables who came after us. When she finally came after multiple times trying to get her attention, she was practically throwing the cutlery and glasses in our table. Even asking for another napkin/tissue paper I couldn’t have as “I already have one” ?? We thought maybe they are just like that and busy but can clearly see them smiling and interacting with the white customers and finally seeing the other reviews here can confirm we were treated this way because we were Asian! And ironically in an Asian restaurant!! There is more shocking behavior but prefer not to go in too much detail.. but we finished eating fast and tried to bill out fast but were again ignored. Only when they saw new customers coming in did they rush to kick us out. Food was okay not terrible but not great either. The restaurant is very beautiful with a nice setting however completely shocked with the terrible service. Don’t recommend coming...

I come to this place often, and I like the food, but I only do take-out now because of the terrible service quality. As others have noted, two of the waiters always treat customers in an unwelcoming way. They do not smile, they get things wrong because they don't take the time to listen properly and they don't apologize, but insinuate you gave them the wrong order. Others have had even worse experiences, so I recommend reading those comments as well.
My recommendation: Do not bring friends or partners here if you want to have a nice dinner out. Haidhausen has better experiences to offer.
(Edit: the service quality has somewhat improved. I haven't had any negative experiences in a while, when picking up my to-go orders. Food-wise, big recommendation for the...
