The lemon chicken, served as a juicy half-grilled chicken with lemon sauce, was satisfying, though the sauce left something to be desired and the accompanying vegetables were undercooked. A note of clarification on the curry chicken would have been helpful, as it is battered and deep-fried, but it was delicious nonetheless.

The split up dining area is neatly divided up into smaller compartments. Still a proper 'Wirtshaus' atmosphere but less noisy than so many beer halls with only one big room.

Capable and relaxed staff that serves everything quickly.

The selection of meals is pretty traditional but still offers vegetarian options. Just one sheet with dishes - which speaks for the focus on seasonal and optimally prepared food. Meat choices are only from responsible and local sources. Comme il faut!

What a perfect place!

Food, first of all. Ingredients they use are outstanding. They produce their own meat and that makes their dishes unique in terms of quality. They even have their stand at the Oktoberfest, just saying. Nothing comes out of a heat lamp here.

Ambiance is so traditional with a wood interior, you step inside and are immersed in a quaint German village. It’s easy to forget your troubles in here.

Service is friendly, quick and great.
