Substanz Club - München — Restaurant in Munich

Sort of a down & dirty 20 something place directly across from govt building & idk if the hostile neighbor in apt above has been removed couple of yrs before pandemic while chatting up a woman outside who was smoking a cigarette the guy threw a bucket of water soaking her & she was all wet we told the security who said Hey he knows not to do that apparently he was a new tenant who CHOOSE to move directly above a LOUD Long established neighborhood bar and flipped out on the noise. News flash if ya want QUIET don't move directly above A BAR!! It's a Local place but since Munich is a Ridiculously popular tourist haven the instant they hear an America accent they ignore you politely thinking you're just a tourist. I've been here 18yrs work on German TV as an actor & on film sets plus at most event venues Olympic stadium/Hall Munich Kulterafferatte etc yet despite my long term commitment to the city locals tend to discount my presence & brush off any attempts to make friendships. Course being a MAN doesn't help. The female to male ratio in Munich is extremely BAD and that's a big player in Local bar scenes. Exact same bar in East Germany would be a winner. Here if your a 20 something woman looking for a local Munich guy this place is for YOU easy pickings of Lap Dog local men who are TAME. Just watch out for the Buckets of Water being thrown...

Unfreundlich und #% Türsteher. Am often in there during the week, it’s a good place to have some drinks after the work .

But it was my first time to go there at the weekend, so I figure out, that they have bouncers , however the man bouncer was so Rude and unfriendly, who should not be allowed to deal with customers!

However he refuse to give any reason why am. It allowed to get in, and he didn’t even care that’s my friends are inside.

I called my friends to go somewhere else .
