Some ingredients in this restaurant are stored above 6 degrees Celsius, against the regulations that require foods to be stored below 4 degrees Celsius. This issue they have is causing the food to get spoiled even before they are cooked. In this restaurant workers are hired illegally, with a promise of legal rights and normal wage, but the owner ends up paying about 1 euro per hour (if employees manage to get paid) and making them work 14 hours a day for 6 or 7 days a week, working practically only for food. It is truly shocking how a restaurant can last open for so long selling spoiled food with people hired illegally and exploited beyond any decency (except for family members that are getting a decent salary). They say that it is a family run business but they always employ illegally 2 or 3 employees that do not have anything to do with their family. They usually exploit other Italians (like most other exploitative Italian restaurants). They continuously lie to their employees, customers and even in reviews with false statements. Overall, Trattoria Bellini is a good Italian restaurant with delicious...
Read moreI wandered in with a friend on a Wednesday at noon, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and incredible aroma of baking pizza. The restaurant was filling up quickly (it was almost 12:00 pm) but we managed to snag a table. We ordered one of the menus from the Tageskarte (whose price is very cheap for Munich). The entree was mozzarella and tomato salad and as main course we had pasta. I had black tagliateli with salmon in sahne sauce, the sauce was packed with flavour and the salmon gave it a great taste. By the end of the meal we were planning our next visit. The staff talks to you mainly in italian, which I loved, absolutely gave me the feeling that I was in Italy...
