Went there with my company a couple times. The atmosphere is great, the waiters friendly and its usually not very crowded. I tried the "nebraska steak with home fries". The steak was very tasty & prepared well. So were the fries, they go way beyond your usual fries. They kinda retain more potato like features than you often see. I also had a combination of gin and tonic recommend to me that was on the better end of gin tonics i tried so far.
My only issue, and the reason for the one missing star, is the pricing. The portions are just a little small. Yes, 19.90 for a steak is fine, but you get only a 200g steak & a handful of fries for that. Read moreThe place: plenty of outdoors seating, lovely for a nice summer day. Chairs were actually comfier than they looked, which is always nice. Lovely atmosphere with plenty of chatter from diners.
The food: they have different brunch options, an egg item menu, and some extras. Also a veggie brunch option for those who want that. Food was pretty ok, with satisfactory portion sizes that were neither huge as to give you food coma nor tiny (except the orange juice which is tiny everywhere in Germany, it seems). Juice was fresh Ana coffee was tasty. I liked my croissant quite a lot, which is not always the case. Their bacon was also pretty good, with flavor and some crisp. Also a fan of the bread basket that accompanied my omelet and Greek yogurt breakfast.
The service: our server didn’t seem to be in the best mood in the world, but otherwise...
