This Chinese restaurant offers an extensive menu with a wide variety of dishes to choose from.
We sampled several dishes, and most were very flavorful. The clay pot chicken was melt-in-your-mouth tender with a rich, earthy sauce that was perfectly balanced. The beef served on a sizzling iron plate was equally tender, with a delightful kick of black pepper that added just the right amount of heat. The mapo tofu was excellent, featuring silken tofu that held its shape, a good level of spice from the chilies, and a satisfying meatiness from the minced meat. The only slight letdown was the fried aubergines - the sauce lacked depth and could have used more flavor and heat.
Service was friendly and efficient, with dishes arriving promptly. Prices are reasonable and in line with expectations for Munich.
The interior, however, feels dated, leaning heavily into older Chinese decorative styles. While it adds a certain charm, a modern refresh would elevate the overall dining experience.
Overall, a great spot for delicious Chinese food with a few minor areas for...
Read moreIsn't there any minus points? 😂 We were excited to try this Chinese restaurant. However, since we arrived and made an order, only after an hour the waitress made the eyecontact to check on us only to say that she has lost our order. It took an hour for her to say that 😂 We were starving without dinner until 20:30, when we hear that our order is not even made. After this has happened she didn't give us any apology but said "everybody is waiting anyway" (no, half of the restaurant was empy at 20:30) and suggested us to just walk out. It was an exceptional experience in my life, that I have never imagined of 😂😂😂 Please, I cannot recommend...
The world to the owner and the staff who are from Hongkong of the restaurant seemed to be still in a century ago. Since we are Chinese, so we were left in a dark corner, with no one coming or asking, and when we tried to ask for knives and forks, the answer was: „here only the westerns are allowed to use knives and forks, you Chinese will never need them. Just be satisfied with the chopsticks!“ - funnier is: the chopsticks were also not there. I guess the staff must have taken us to be so intelligent, that we can do magic spell to make the food flying into our mouth itself-flattered, really. And even the menu was given us a different version: the menu only for we wizards? :D And the one advantage of sitting in the corner is that: we could hear so clearly back from the kitchen the talking of the staff with their boss:“we got a table of Chinese!“ I guess sometimes it is also a good idea to be treated as a intelligent wizard but with hearing ability deficiency. Funny place, funny people. The dish? Well we forgot the spell to fly the foods, so just decided for another normal restaurant operated by...
