Lucky Neko - Sushi, Bowls & More — Restaurant in Nuremberg

This is a lovely little spot located in the southern part of the city, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. For our appetizers, we ordered the shrimps tempura and salmon avocado salad. Unfortunately, the ebi tempura was not authentic and tasted more like breaded shrimp rather than the crispy and fluffy tempura we were hoping for. Additionally, it was quite oily. The salad was decent, but nothing extraordinary.

Next, we decided to order a sushi set for two, which included around 56 pieces as indicated on the menu. We thought this would be a great opportunity to sample a variety of options. However, we were disappointed to find that all 56 pieces consisted of only two ingredients: salmon and avocado. The sushi set included salmon maki, avocado maki, avocado and salmon maki, salmon sashimi, salmon fried roll, one roll with old ebi tempura, and only one nigiri with tuna. It was clear that some pieces were missing, and we were left with a lack of variety.

Overall, the quantity of food was high, but unfortunately, the quality did not meet our expectations. Perhaps we happened to be there on a day when the chef was not...

Ordered pho-bo, fried udon with chicken and springrolls with checken via ubereats, to enjoy some vietnamies at home.

I was glad that it was possible to deliver the soup and the dish itself was delicious (there was enough beef, however the broth was not see-through). Upon dish was unique: most of the vegetables in it were carrot and white onion; not enough meat. Springrolls were without mango and the chicken in it was deep-fried eventhough it was not stated in the description.

Place is well-situated with green leafy barrier giving you a sense of relief. Makes you feel you the country side. Sound of the cars passing by reminds you again you are in the city.
