Edit: I've eaten here dozens of times over the last few years, and the food and staff are top notch.

It's been over a year since I've had the Meerrettich-Senf-Schnitzel (breaded loin of pork filled with mustard and horseradish) and man, do I miss this tasty dish. Would have it at least once every stay in Oberammergau.

If you like lamb, get it, you will not be disappointed. The roast lamb has a crust of mustard and herbs, and is always cooked perfectly. Ever so slightly salty, mustardy, crisp exterior, with a perfect interior.

The waitress with the glasses and the blonde hair speaks german and english, she is so nice and helpful, and even if i said some things wrong in german, she corrected me. service is 10/10. ketchup and mayo more expensive than mcdonalds. the Hacker Pschorr beer is very Delicious. i noticed they serve huge amout of stilles wasser in beer glasses. i wish they had a meat version of käsespätzle and i wish they'd give more cheese. even if the lava cake had been heated in the microwave it is delicious. the ice cream is better than the one up the road from the stand. i thought they would serve an actual...
