Canaletto Pirna — Restaurant in Pirna

We were personally invited to this restaurant by the owner as we were staying in a lovely Airbnb property in the Sonnenstein Schloss around New years, which he owns as well.

Definitely the best option in town to have breakfast or brunch. They also serve lunch, in case you want to pass by later throughout the day. We were mesmerized by the restaurant's ambiance as soon as we stepped in. They have an amazing coffee bar and different kinds of delicious fresh cake to choose from.

We were very hungry so we decided to go for a full loaded breakfast. We ordered the Sonnenstein breakfast which basically has it all. Various ham and cheese cuts, german bread with various spreads as well as eggs cooked with your style of choice on the side, in addition to fresh fruit. We got to try their Yoghurt, which comes with fresh fruit, honey and chia seeds, it was very refreshing and perfect to start your morning.

Ihr wollt richtig gut inmitten der Altstadt von Pirna frühstücken gehen? Dann empfehle ich euch diese Lokalität. Wir sind ziemlich spät zum Frühstücken aufgebrochen und kamen erst gegen11.30Uhr dort an. Aber das war kein Problem, denn ihr bekommt hier den ganzen Tag über Frühstück. Was ich absolut grandios finde. Das Ambiente ist stylisch schick und dennoch nicht abgehoben. Gemütliche Sofanischen, geniale Lampen, warme, gedeckte Farben, hohe, herrschaftliche Decken, schicke Bar… alles vereint einen Style aus alt und neu… und zudem: Absolut sauberes WC! Die Servicekräfte arbeiten zugewandt, freundlich und sind schnell. Haben den Gast gut im Blick, erkundigen sich, ob man noch Wünsche hat und räumen nicht mehr Benötigtes zügig ab. Die Servicekräfte haben einen gut, aber nie aufdringlich im Blick. Die Frühstückskarte ist toll, wird schick offeriert und es werden originelle Frühstücke angeboten. Ich wählte z.B. das Frühstück Copitz. Absolut genial und sehr zu empfehlen, wenn ihr auf herzhafte Frühstücke steht. Von Mett mit Zwiebeln, eingelegten Gurken, frischem aufgeschnittenen Gemüse, kleine warme Würstchen mit Senf, feinem luftgetrockneter Schinken etc. und dazu Brötchen… zum Teil in Herzform waren dabei. Schaut euch meine Fotos unten an und ihr erkennt, hier wird mit Liebe zum Detail serviert! Alle Zutaten waren ausnahmslos lecker und wirkten nach guter und frischer Qualität. Mein Milchkaffee war übrigens auch mega lecker! Also ganz klar: Würde ich Pirna wieder mal besuchen, so würde ich zum Frühstücken hierherkommen!!!! Empfehlung...

They are not bad, but they Cann be better. I miss the know professional German service. When you order soup and burger, you get the burger and the soup. It's a problem, so you eat cold burger. I want to eat my soup and after they bring my burger. When you ask about something they are irritated, not the most kind service.
