It is a big city restaurant in a small town - take it from someone who has lived in both New York City and São Paulo for many years and loooves eating. This place would thrive anywhere in the globe! The lunch menu never ceases to impress, with beautifully put together dishes that are absolutely delicious and thought through to the tiniest detail. The ambience is the most accommodating, at once cozy and modern with a wholesome vibe. But the most impressive thing of all is how every single time we go there, I see the family who owns the place always working together - a couple and their adult daughter. I have visited Café Sommer so often you could say I am a Regular or "Stammkunde". I love it here! They are located near the church on Willhelmstraße and right amoungst all the shops. I like to sit outside when the weather is good and watch the people go by. They have seating in front and back . The servers are so friendly and professional, I have never been disappointed and always feel right at home. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. They have lunch sepcials everyday which includes a small dessert! But I must say my favorite meal is the Quiche Lorraine. You really can not go wrong! The coffee is wonderful and they have a nice selection of teas too. You must also have some cake or take some home with you. My favorite's are the Schwartzwald and the Eierlikör.
