Terrible experience. I went to the pizzeria in Rostock with my wife and children, including a newborn baby girl. Unfortunately, the disorganization of the waiters forced us to wait too long, even though the restaurant had very few customers that day (I am referring to August 8 at 1:30 p.m.). We always had to get up to get the waiters' attention to order. The last pizza never arrived, so my wife went to find the manager and told them that our little girl couldn't stay in the restaurant any longer and that we would pay for what we had consumed so far and leave. The manager (who was clearly responsible for the chaos in the service) reacted aggressively and unpleasantly from the start. She told my wife that the pizza was already made. This was a lie, because after 10 minutes the pizza still hadn't arrived. I then went to tell the manager that we couldn't stay in the restaurant any longer due to obvious family discomfort (two hours for two pizzas up to that point). She reacted in a very unpleasant manner, shouting from near the cash register that we would also have to pay for the third pizza. I have never in my entire life seen such an unpleasant reaction in a restaurant from someone who was clearly more upset about her own responsibility (for the chaos) than about admitting it and apologizing. The incredible thing is that she insisted to the point that we had to threaten to call the police. And as the situation became extremely unpleasant, we called the police. Only the intervention of a charming Italian waiter (I think his name was Stefano) was able to resolve the problem (he literally bought the third pizza, a total shame for the manager). He apologized for her: both for her unusual aggressiveness and for the surprising lies she told (she kept claiming that the restaurant was full, when there were few customers—the owners can confirm this with the bills). A complete embarrassment that made our day...
Read more60 Seconds to Napoli is a fantastic pizzeria and bar with a cozy, welcoming vibe. It’s not a full Italian restaurant — they focus on what they do best: top-tier Neapolitan pizza and a few delicious starters.
The pizzas are authentic and made by Southern Italians — soft, chewy dough, perfectly blistered crust, and full of rich flavors. The quality is outstanding. We shared a big antipasti plate to start, and the drinks were just as impressive — great selection of cocktails, wines, and soft drinks.
Staff speaks English and the service was excellent. We paid €130 for 2 pizzas, 1 large starter, and 6 drinks — totally fair for the quality.
Definitely coming back. A must-visit in Rostock for real pizza...
Read moreExtremely slow service. We arrived and ordered just before the lunch crowd, but after 1.5 hours of waiting, many tables adjacent to us, with customers who came later than us, were served first. They even left the restaurant already! It was not convenient for us to wait any longer after being told to wait another 10 minutes when inquiring about our two pizzas (our baby was already quite fussy by that time). Our drinks did arrive at a fairly good time, but one appetizer took half an hour. How is this restaurant named "60 Seconds to Napoli" when we waited for the food for much longer? We were very disappointed and...
