Eigentlich eine 7/5 Super gutes Essen, durch die Ausstellungen ein tolles, immer abwechslungsreiches Ambiente, einwandfreies (!) Ein-Mann-Personal, große Auswahl, gute Preise sind schon die 5/5. Definitiv mit in die Bewertung muss aber nochmal Cesareo als Wirt und damit auch die Stimmung: Wenn man sich wie ein Mensch aufführt und nicht durch die Tür kommt mit dem Anspruch "Der Kunde ist König und kann sich alles erlauben", dann wird man am Abend Party machen und bestimmt viele neue, tolle Leute kennenlernen. Es ist bestimmt kein Ort, um trübsinnig über einem Glas Wein Gedanken nachzuhängen, sondern einer, wo das Leben pulsiert. Leute, die unterschiedlicher nicht sein könnten, werden von ihm zusammengebracht, und man trifft früher oder später definitiv unerwartet Bekannte. Wer plant zu essen, sollte sich vorher einmal ankündigen. Das kann als großes Qualitätsmerkmal gesehen werden, weil extra danach eingekauft wird. (Die Quesadilla geht aber fast immer wenn er Lust hat.) Der Tequila ist deutlich besser als jeglicher, den man bisher kennt, wird aber mexikanisch dargeboten: Also ohne Salz, ohne Limette, und auch eisgekühlt muss er nicht werden, um genossen werden zu können. Wer so weit gelesen hat, hat sich einen Geheimtipp redlich verdient: Sein Kaffee hat hohe Qualität und wenn man danach fragt, kann man auch gerne sich Bohnen rösten oder Pulver mahlen lassen

Best Mexican restaurant I’ve been to outside of Mexico. The owner is very friendly and a fantastic cook. The food is basically custom made to order.

You have to call ahead of time and let him know what you plan to eat from the menu. He’ll go pick up the best ingredients for that dish that day and prepare an amazing, authentic home cooked meal.
