Omachi Sushi-Viet-Fusion — Restaurant in Rostock

We visited the restaurant as a family of four (two adults and two children) one evening, expecting a pleasant dining experience, but unfortunately left without having any food.

Upon arrival, we were quickly asked to place our order, but we hadn’t had time to finish reading the menu yet, so we asked for a few more minutes and ordered drinks. Once the drinks arrived, we tried to order food. The first two dishes we asked for were flatly refused, without any explanation.

When we inquired about a third dish, the waiter gave us a very resigned look and told us it would take at least an hour to prepare. At no point was the waiter understanding or helpful. We eventually asked directly if he could suggest something that could be ready within half an hour, but he wasn’t able to answer that either.

Sadly, we ended up leaving without having any food. The overall experience was disappointing, especially considering the many positive reviews we had...

I was thoroughly impressed with this restaurant. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between upscale and comfortable, and the lighting creates a warm, inviting mood. The food? Outstanding. Every bite was fresh and flavorful, and you could tell the ingredients were high quality. I tried the seasonal special, and it was one of the best meals I’ve had in months. Got there yesterday with a booking and were glad we made one. Place was packed but nicely.

For seated a minute later and were browsing through the menu. It is an extensive list of food offered which might explain the "long" wait for food. Actually I believe that 30 min is reasonable when the place is full. However, the waiter team was.. well it seemed understaffed even tho we never felt the urge to raise our arm to call him. He came always when needed.

Sushi was good ,(will have to try more to get a better opinion) All in all a good evening. When you come, bring time. And...
