Maharaja Restaurant — Restaurant in Schweinfurt

I ordered a Matar Paneer, this dish usually contains peas and paneer (cheese), which is cooked in a rich curry sauce. What I got was a watery sauce light on spices, with a very bland taste. The standard of currys in Europe, do not reach the high bar set by UK standards, but this was extremely poor. On top of that, they did not take any credit cards or foreign debit cards, you either had to pay cash or by a German debit card. My advice is to avoid.

Firstly, every restaurant waiter usually asks if everything is ok while dining, You are not special. Out of courtesy to other diners and yourselves, as well as not wanting to disturb our outing, what would have been the point of telling you the food was bland? Would you have changed the cook? Would you have replaced the dish with the same, which meant I would have had to wait another 40min? I said the food was bland and not up to the standard I'm used to, that didn't mean that I had to not finish it.

As for the payment, we're not asking for special treatment, but if you had told us at the beginning what your restrictions are, then maybe that would have changed our minds about eating there. Additionally, why do you not put a notice on the door regarding what payments you take, instead of waiting right after the people have eaten and then ask...

Delicious and Fabulous Taste I just came last week (17Oct2019)to Schweinfurt,Germany for work for almost around 6 months and going through food i found this Maharaja Restaurant Maharadscha which is really the Best restaurant which i could ever get in Germany as Indian Taste. These Restaurant People are really customer centric and integrated to there work and due to Indian culture and ambiance i feel really awesome while taking meals. There is lot of varieties in menus with affordable price and would suggest everyone should have a taste in this restaurant when you are in Germany. I would give this restaurant as 5 star because i dont have to search other restaurant for my complete 6 months period in Schweinfurt. Thanks and keep it up with these...

Finding a good indian restaurant in Germany can be a challenge. Many are standard convenience, some are even bland. This one is definitely standing out. The choice of meals is good, the service is friendly, bu most important, the food quality is great. We had our first visit today, ordered a couple of meals to sample them while being aware we would take the leftovers home. Enjoyed everyone single one. Food i freshly prepared and you can taste that. Mat from the tandoor was very tender with a good mix of veggies.
