Harry’s Coffee Roastery — Restaurant in Stuttgart

We often passed by and always paid attention to this place. This time we finally managed to look in.

A beautiful, cozy cafe with polite and nice staff, and a great atmosphere. The prices are somewhat higher than average. This aspect, in combination with everything said above, I think set the high expectations and therefore influenced my assessment :)

We took latte macchiato, cappuccino, ciabatta with ham and cheesecake.

The latte seemed too soft to me. The coffee was felt much less than I would have liked. 3.5/5

In turn, I really liked the cappuccino. The taste was rich, but at the same time without unnecessary bitterness and with an excellent aftertaste. 5/5

The cheesecake is not bad. In taste and texture it was something between Basque and classic made from whipped cottage cheese. 4/5

In the ciabatta I was missing some flavor to complete the picture... Mozzarella, Gouda or something else that could soften and complement the current ingredients a little. In addition, it seemed a little too salty. Maybe next time I'll try ciabatta with...

Soooo went to this coffee shop, this morning to eat something and get a coffee. Normally what I do is eat whatever at the cafe and take the coffee in a cup so either I can stay and enjoy or just leave when ever I want. It was an east Asian woman who was serving, There was a woman before me and I stood in the line, this east Asian woman who was serving someone else, just shouted eat in or to go, whilst serving another woman, I was like to eat in but I need a coffee in cup, she then said, that means ''to go'' and laughed sarcastically with the other customer as if I don't know the difference between eat in and take out.

Then she started telling me if it is eat in I need to have a glass. I was like, woman, I am the customer, I decide, what I do, don't tell me that I have to drink coffee in a glass if I want to drink it off a.cup. I happily went to the shop opposite and happily gave my money to their service.

New customer lost, business was.given to the competitor. Will never step my foot...

We waited for close to 30 min for our cappuccinos (2x) but unfortunately it didn't arrive. We saw customers who got there after getting their orders served. We decided to walk away and informed our waiter on the way out. To our surprise the waiter apologized and acknowledged that it happens quite often. We got this place recommended but sadly had a bad experience though the theme of the cafe seemed interesting. Ironically, the Cafe sells coffee equipment next door but doesn't seem to have their own kitchen well equipped. The management seems to be very passionate about coffee and it's culture but it hardly reflects on the customer service they provide. If you are hoping to have a good experience be prepared to gamble. In any case the experience will be...
