We were 3 tourists wanting to try some laugenbrezel. The staff members taking our order were very rude, making eye contact with each other while talking badly about us in German, and the waitress was actively not making any effort to understand what I was ordering (and I was trying my best to speak German). She also tried to scam us when I asked in German for their 3+1 laugenbrezel gratis, and when I told her she got my order wrong she added something to my order out of nowhere. And the thing is, it is a chain in Germany and it is located in the center of Trier, so I genuinely cannot comprehend the hostility we had to face, because I know for a fact that we are not the only tourists who ate there. I mean, we are BUYING food from YOU, the LEAST you can do is be POLITE with your customers! Don't go there if you are a tourist, you are probably not welcome. And also, the laugenbrezel was pretty dry, that's sad for a first time...

My family visited to enjoy some hot beverages on a cold afternoon while eating a lunchtime sandwich (from a sandwich shop nearby). The owner or manager, or dishwasher (I don't know their job) informed us in a loud voice (and in English) that the entire Cafe could hear that it "was very inappropriate and rude to eat a Kabob in a Cafe. We purchased drinks from the Cafe and were not taking up any additional space or time. My entire family was shocked on his approach where a simple request not to eat food from other establishments would have been sufficient. The purposeful attempt to embarrass my family in front of the entire building was very unprofessional and uncalled for. The other employees were kind, but the Bread Salesperson was horrible. Well, i dont know how to write or speak german so well, so i talk very basic, still nice that they could understand me. Coffee is lekker! All cakes delicious! I just want to eat all of them... Service is ok, eten is ok, only sfeer is not so ok, they could refurnish a little bit modern look and much comfort chair and table.

I bought 1 coffee, 1 citroen cake, 1 chocolate cake, 2 cheesebread, 3 sweetbread, total is 20 euro, so its not so bad for this quality bread.
