Urfalim Cigköfte Ulm — Restaurant in Ulm

Hotspot for every Vegan visiting the city and a MUST for everyone enjoying good food. Food is absolutely delicious - according to the staff selfmade - , satisfying, wholesome (not vegan junk food!) and affordable! Only 5€ for a wrap (6€ for the big one) will get you full and happy. The staff is very friendly, the place is clean and authentic. You can sit and eat indoors which is great on cold days. The pomegranate sauce can be bought in-store.

I recommend everyone, vegan or not, to grab a wrap over there, especially during summer and enjoy those delicacies a bit further away at the riverside...

What a place. The hospitality is beyond 5 star. We were a group of 7 people and were comfortable to get a table and chairs. We ordered teller falafel and it was crispy and the salad was delicious. The best part was the baklava. It is one of the best baklava I have ever tasted it was so delicious that we had to take some home for eating at night. The owner offered us some other sweets to taste and a hot...

Ich war gestern das erste mal im Urfalim Cigköfte, auf Grund der durchweg positiven Bewertungen und da ich vegetarisch essen wollte.

Ich entschied mich für eine große Portion Falafel im Wrap. Auf dem Tresen stand eine Schüssel mit Falafel. Aus dieser Schüssel wurden dann 4 Falafel genommen und in der Mikrowelle erwärmt. Währenddessen wurden 2 Tortillafladen mit einem Löffel Humus sehr dünn bestrichen. Hinzu kamen dann noch Salat und ein Spritzer einer mir nicht näher bekannten Soße und anschließend die aufgewärmten Falafel.

Ich kenne Falafel so, dass diese in heißem Fett schwimmend gebacken werden, so dass sie außen schön kross und innen weich sind - das war hier nicht der Fall. Geschmacklich war es dann auch entsprechend. Die übergroßen Tortillafladen waren zudem als Hülle zum einen viel zu viel und zum anderen kalt. Die Füllung schmeckte mir auch irgendwie zu trocken.

Der Kunde nach mir, wurde auch, bei der gleichen Wahl, ganz anders behandelt. Er wurde gefragt, ob scharf oder nicht scharf , ob alles vom Salat rein soll und bekam zu seinen 2 Wraps auch noch...
