We stayed in the Ente business suite in late September.

Pros: Excellent location a minute walk to the Markt Platz. Family (mother and son) run hotel with only 3 rooms and restaurant. Excellent (and popular) restaurant. We ate there 3 evenings. Friendly family and staff. Spacious suite. Very clean. In room refrigerator and cabinet stocked daily for breakfast. Bathrobes provided. Plenty of electrical outlets. Reasonably priced. Private parking provided in nearby garage at 10 Euros per day paid to Ente.

Cons: Rated 4 stars instead of 5 because of a number of issues that could easily be remedied by the proprietors and would not dissuade us from staying there again. Curtain in bedroom was torn and held together with safety pins. One bathrobe had no belt loops. Only one pair of slippers for 2 people. Only one cereal bowl for 2 people and no bowl or cereal on our last morning. Church bells that peal day and night with particlarly joyous ringing at midnight and 6:00 AM, but not a problem if all windows are closed. Pesky mosquitos at night if not all...

We visited this place for a lunch. The service was very polite and helpful. Our food was more than good. It is a big advantage that they add some modern dishes and not only focus on german cuisine which is meat and only meat (pork). Our poke bowl was delicious, we missed some ingredients (edamame) but it was very tasty and fresh. We will definitely visit the place again, not necessary for a lunch but would be glad to have more vegan or vegetarian...

I came here to try German food, the staff are patient and helpful as I have zero German so I can’t thank them enough, I decided to come here every day to try different dishes the portions were just right and the food was traditional German. The menu is in German. But I just used google translate so no problem. Best to book as it gets busy. Prices are reasonable because the quality of food is very good. This will be my go to restaurant when I am in town. Many thanks Ente.

Ein Hotelrestaurant in der Innen-/Altstadt von Biberach. Zum Restaurant: Ein sehr urtümlich eingerichtetes Lokal mit typisch schwäbischer Küche. Es gibt einen Außenbereich und ein sehr gemütliches Inneres. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und flott. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis empfinde ich als "gut". Zum "Hotel": Ich setzte Hotel in Anführungszeichen, da es insgesamt nur vier Zimmer gibt. Dies ist auch der Grund weshalb es kein Frühstücksbuffet gibt (lohnt sich nicht für 4 Zimmer). Dafür gibt es einen gut gefüllten Kühlschrank mit Toast Brötchen, ausreichend Ausschnitt (diverse Käse- und Wurstsorten sowie Schinken), Marmeladen, Honig, Joghurt, Milch, Säfte, Softdrinks und viel Wasser (mit und ohne Blubb). Es gibt Toaster, Kaffeemaschine (inklusive Kapseln) und einen Wasserkocher (inklusive diverser Teebeutel. Außerdem stehen im Schrank Müsli im Einmachglas und Kornflakes. Mein Zimmer ("Whirlpool Suite") erstreckt sich über zwei Etagen, war sehr sauber und toll ausgestattet (einschließlich Bügeleisen und / -brett). Die Nachteile: Es ist ein historischer Altbau, also absolut NICHT barrierefrei. Es gibt keine Parkplätze außer den sehr wenigen öffentlichen in der Innenstadt und die Kirche in der Nähe schlägt jede volle sowie jede Viertelstunde #Terrorturm...
