Café, Bäckerei Harald Lang — Restaurant in Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Ettenheim

This is a small local bakery and coffee shop close to the entrance to EuropaPark. We stopped there for a coffee and snack on our last morning after checking out. The first thing to note is that English is not spoken, and credit cards are not accepted – only cash. We were prepared for that and we enjoyed a nice coffee and some tasty pastries. Stoped two times, once for breakfast and once for takeway pastry. Not much to say. Decent place but they could try to be more open to foreignera who don’t speak german. Tried in french and english but they didnt make an effort to comunicate. The products are averge quality (sweets are sweet and good looking but that is average in my opinion). Breakfast is a joke. Coffee is bellow average..same as in most places of this tipe. Only advantage is they open early morning and is the only place with something close to breakfast in the area. Won’t come back...

Pequeña dulcería/panadería que sirve desayunos, en la que solo se puede pagar en efectivo. Para tratarse de un negocio que vive casi exclusivamente del turismo, el trato a los turistas deja mucho que desear. Las dos mujeres que atienden allí no hacen ningún esfuerzo por intentar entenderse con los turistas, especialmente la señora del pañuelo. El proceso se hace muy estresante porque si no las entiendes te meten prisa o, sencillamente, te ignoran. Para preparar el desayuno cogen todos los productos con la mano (sin guantes), incluso las lonchas de embutidos que ponen en el plato una a una: luego, con las mismas manos (sin lavar), cogen el dinero en efectivo para cobrar y devolver el cambio. Para colmo de males, entre las cestas de pan del desayuno merodeaba una pequeña cucaracha que luego se paseó por el expositor de dulces como Pedro por su casa sin que la señora (alemana) hiciera ningún caso cuando se le informó de la presencia de tan...
