Excellent hotel, one of the best I have done. It is not for the decoration of the rooms or the number of stars but for the 5 stars family service of this small hotel, the atmosphere (you feel like at home) and the Italian family run restaurant (ground floor) which is just absolutely delicious (and very reasonable price for handmade plates - don't go to Europa Park restaurants which are very poor and not good this place is so much better).

The rooms are equipped with everything you need, confortable and with air conditioning. It is very quiet.

Bonus : the main entrance for Europa Park is like 5 min walking distance from the hotel and you can see the roller coaster from your room :-)

Not only you have a warm welcome but everything is very well organized and easy : from the e-mail received and from the check in to the check out (with a digit code on the door, no keys) to the parking space (free private parking in front of the hotel and on the check out day they are giving a free 1 day parking ticket for the Europa Park parking (which is 10 eur value)).

Just one thing there is no lift but it is only 2 floors...

Ridiculous. Very bad experience. The waiter was very rude. It felt like he was doing us a favour. We waited for the food for 1hr+ with everyone who came after us getting their food. No proper answer as to why. At some point, we asked and were told that they ordered what was already premade, but some tables were getting the same pasta, so this explanation felt bogus. I know that when it is a full house and multiple tables arrive at the same time, it is difficult for kitchen and stuff. However, there was 0 communication with our waiter being absent from our table completely. When we asked about our food and that it has been long, he almost started arguing and was aggressive and one of his colleagues had to ask him and physically move him away from our table to talk to us properly. Food was also simply OK with nothing special. Bolognese was not good. Do not recommend it at all. Try another place maybe if you think about...

This is an amazing personable small hotel. The breakfasts are fantastic. It's walking distance to Europa Park. They get to know each guest by name and you are treated with kindness and cheer. My room and bed were comfortable, and the view from my balcony was super. The only thing I don't like is the lack of elevator.

Almost all staff speak enough English that you will be understood. It helps to know some German, of course.

I was very amused to hear Kpop at breakfast, and it made me smile.

They can print things out for you if you need that. They can bring luggage up and down if you have difficulty with stairs. Everyone here is very strong and friendly.
