It took them more than an hour to bring me a kepap teller, which takes maybe 2 min to prepare. The place is very crowded, you can barely squeeze between the tables. Food was ok, but had much better as well.

Update: for your answer, you must have mistaken me for someone else. I dont speak german. We had a reservation, but our table was taken, we got another (not in the middle). I had never been here before yesterday. And it was well over an hour waiting time. For cutting some meat feom the pile, take some fries from the oil and put a spoon of cucumbers on the side - thats a bit too long. Oh, and we had no discussion at...

Super tasty food for a very good price (especially the lunch offers).

But the best part is the familiar atmosphere. The chef knows all his regulars, lets kids go behind the bar and prepare the orders .... short he and also the others are extremely friendly. And you can feel with witch pleasure the customers return.

Also the place itself is very charming. Very “urig” and maybe not what you might expect for a Turkish restaurant.

So if you are in Konstanz, definitely plan lunch/dinner at this place but due to it popularity either come outside the typical dining hours or...

simple and tasty food here which tastes much better than it looks 😉 the kitchen, the low prices, its VERY nice atmosphere and the super friendly service are what this restaurant is known for - since many years. you get typical turkish-german food - which really is a category in its own! many germans grew up with this food, it's really like indian food in england. thus, this is as german as it gets - in a wonderful non-german way 😄 check it out - and don't forget to make a reservation, this place fills up...
