I came here with my friend on a Wednesday around mid-day. I'll tell you right now- this is a must visit for Konstanz. The staff was very friendly and chatty and made us feel very welcome. The menu has plenty to offer with various dishes. In the end I went for the chicken schnitzel with spätzle and cheese and I was very pleased with the result. The schnitzel was fantastic but the star of the show was the cheese sauce, whatever dish you get, make sure you get the cheese sauce aswell. The best part is: our kind waiter saw we ran out of sauce and gave us another portion free of charge! TL.DR. Overpriced. Seriously, the food is OK but doesn't live up to the hype. The burgers have two small patties. The meat is good but the patties are overdone. The buns are great and combined with one, nice and thick, 'medium' coocked pattie would have been amazing. BUT, this is not the case. Fries are charged extra. I can except that. But ketchup and mayo charhed extra? SERIOUSLY? The draught beers are from the cheaper brands but charged at the upper range of the price. Unlikely that I will visit the place again. Ich war vor kurzem im Stallbursche – und bin immer noch völlig begeistert. Dieses Restaurant hat es wirklich geschafft, ein durch und durch stimmiges Konzept auf die Beine zu stellen.

Der Service? Einfach nur top! Super freundlich, aufmerksam, aber niemals aufdringlich. Man merkt sofort: Hier arbeiten Menschen, die ihren Job lieben und wissen, wie man Gäste willkommen heißt. Ich habe mich vom ersten Moment an wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt.

Das Ambiente ist etwas ganz Besonderes. Der Stil ist wunderbar auf den Namen Stallbursche abgestimmt – rustikal, aber mit Charme und einem modernen Twist. Viel Holz, liebevolle Details und eine Atmosphäre, die Wärme und Bodenständigkeit ausstrahlt. Man hat das Gefühl, in einem edlen, modernen Landgasthof zu sein – einfach mega gemütlich!

Und dann das Essen: geisteskrank geil – anders kann ich es nicht sagen. Jedes Gericht war bis ins kleinste Detail durchdacht, super abgeschmeckt und mit richtig hochwertigen Zutaten zubereitet. Egal ob Fleisch, Beilage oder Sauce – alles auf den Punkt. Geschmacklich ganz weit oben!
