Akropolis — Restaurant in Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Waldshut-Tiengen

We were not satisfied. Poor looking plates, no creativity (cheese in the middle of the plate with 2 slices onion on top, thats it, like somewhere in Mensa). If you close your eyes and taste calamari you dont even recognize what are you eating, which is pretty bad in a greek restaurant. Service at around 22:45 suddenly stoped serving the hosts so we had to go to the bar (service sitting around the table in front of the bar talking to each other and overlooking hosts) to ask if we can pay. They just entered a price to the terminal without even giving us a bill and when we asked to provide the bill they looked at us like what do we even want as giving a bill is not what people usually do. Unfortunatelly cannot recommend, not...

I've been living in this area for 2 years and used to try different restaurants in WT and surrounding... I am just amazed by the atmosphere, the quality of food and even the price tag ... Its unbelievable how competitive they are comparing even with just the very neither restaurants. If you get the chance of visiting them, try the beaf steaks and other Greek specialities for such a cheap price comparing with the other ones in region and surrounding. I will definitely miss this restaurant and the unique taste of their steaks. Add to that the lovely shot of Greek schnapps they offer...

I am so glad I discovered this wonderful restaurant. The staff are caring and have great recommendations, the service is top notch. The food tastes like it was delivered from heaven by a stork. Highly recommend for omnivores; I am a vegetarian and always order their mushroom cheese spaghetti and it comes with a small mountain of molten cheese on top - Even just recalling the memory of this delicious dish I'm salivating. Portions are massive, too, as a heads up. Always have a wonderful time here. I can't wait...
