China-Restaurant Shanghai — Restaurant in Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Waldshut-Tiengen

Well, you kind of get a 70% vegetable to 30% meat ratio in most of the dishes. Dishes are cheap ("meals" upwards of seven euros) but as said the meat to vegetable ratio is terrible. The food itself is a Chinese I've personally never experienced and probably not a picky eaters (me) first choice. We asked for no vegetables but still got it so that isn't an option for you smart heads.

We ordered five meals including starters for only one adult and two children just about filling us up as we hadn't eaten most of the vegetables. We ended up having to fish out the meat from the pile of vegetables on our plates. This came to about 80 euros (100 franks) excluding the tip.

Our only complaint about service is that they failed to fulfill our wish of not having vegetables in our meals. Otherwise the people itself were friendly.

This is probably good value for money for meat eaters. For vegetarians:its has very limited choice. Staff :is friendly. Space: is a bit cramped too many tables with not enough space in between.though they have managed to squeeze in small puddle for fishes which kids enjoy. Starters:Dishes were out of freezer and into deep fryers, pretty sure for atleast spring rolls and other fried starters. Prawn salad was just way too much cocktail sauce , could not taste antthing else.

Drinks:One can get a decent beer here though but dont try the Jasmine tea it was without any aroma.

A lot can be improved and staff seems very capable...

Wir waren das letzte Mal!!! Seit vielen Jahren kennen wir das Shanghai in Tiengen und wir kamen immer gerne und oft zum essen. Es war immer sehr lecker und das Personal war immer freundlich. Doch der letzte versuchte Besuch war wirklich unterirdisch. Es war Fasnachtssamstag und wir wollten den Samstag Abend noch mit einem Essen ausklingen lassen. Als eine Bekannte eine Arbeitskollegin am Eingang traf und die zwei sich umarmten und lachten, wurden wir unfassbarerweise von einem jungen angestellten Mann angesprochen ob wir nicht wüssten wie man sich zu benehmen hätte. Von oben herab und in einem völlig unangebrachten Ton uns Gästen gegenüber. Wir waren zu acht und haben natürlich sofort kehrt gemacht und haben das Restaurant verlassen.
