Weihenstephaner Wiesbaden — Restaurant in Wiesbaden

I wish I could give this place more stars as everything combined together makes this my favorite place to eat so far in Wiesbaden. I only wish I could do enough exercise to justify eating here every night. My personal favorite is the Chicken Schnitzel, but Cabbage special from a few weeks ago was very good!

What makes this place extra special is the staff! I want to give a special shoutout to Petra! Such a lovely person and just so welcoming. I started coming here with a group of friends as we all just moved here and we love this place because the staff is just so nice! Jonah is also really great! The gentleman who pours the beer is something else too. We got to sit in the corner table just to the left of the bar all the way in the back and saw some techniques that were new to us.

If you walk-in between 5-6pm you can usually grab a table right away. We've been coming in right at 5pm and there are always tabled available, but there are also plenty with reservation signs. So probably best to have a reservation if you want to eat here after 6pm and definitely worth asking for Petra or Jonah...

This was a great restaurant. Their pretzels were exactly as you would expect and want from an authentic German restaurant. Definitely make a reservation. We had a reservation for ten, but last minute, 5 people cancelled. They were understandably perturbed, but then after just asking us to let them know next time, they treated us very well the entire night. It was crowded all evening. The food was great. Weihenstephaner feels like a standard unassuming German restaurant when you step in. Went a couple of weeks ago and found a better than average experience. The food is prepared fresh and if you want the pork knuckle reserve in advance. If you sit near the kitchen you can overhear the kitchen staff pounding away at the next schnitzel to be served.
