Bun Cha Vietnamese Street Food — Restaurant in Wiesbaden

The food here is maybe fine for foreigners' taste but as a Vietnamese I'm disappointed. The springrolls were sour and not fresh, when we asked, the cook said that's how they are. We have people from south and north Vietnam and that's still such a strange taste for us but ok. The dishes with rice noodles are not very authentic but edible, however, the rice dish with beefs is very salty and the beefs are too chewy. The only dish that's good is Banh Xeo (vietnamese pancake), very recommended 👍.

The service is otherwise very good and helpful. Their decoration is impressively authentically vietnamese. Atmosphere is cozy and vintage! Everything is perfect, just the food should be adjust if wants to be authentic. Hope they will improve this, might give it a second...

Als Vietnamese muss ich das ein bisschen strenger bewerten also hier meine Bewertung: Die Ambiente ist wirklich schön und die Speisen sehr authentisch. Eine gute Auswahl an Getränken ist auch vorhanden. Ich habe klassisch ein Ca Phe Sua Da mit Pho bestellt. Als Vorspeise gab es Banh Xeo. Als Südvietnamese isst man Banh Xeo so, dass man es in einem Salatblatt umwickelt und diese in der Sauce reindippt. Leider kam das Salat erst nach Anfrage, da sie so nicht dabei wäre. Beim Pho gab es Sojakeimen, Minze, Zitrone und Chili seperat in einer Schüssel. Leider war weder Hoi-Sin Soße noch Sriracha dabei... Auf Anfrage wurde mir gesagt, dass Hoi-Sin Soße extra kostet. Also in jeglichen vietnamesischen Restaurants, in dem ich war, war sowohl Sriracha als auch Hoi-Sin immer dabei. Ich sehe keine Probleme beim Nachfragen. Aber das es zu einem klassischen Nationalnalgericht die Soße extra kostet finde ich schon etwas schwach. Dazu kommt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hinzu. Für 15,90€ Pho Bo war die Menge echt mau. Die Schüssel war Rand voll mit Brühe aber wenig Reisbandnudeln war drin. Dazu kommt noch hinzu, dass in dem Preis nicht die Soße drin ist, die eigentlich zu dem Nationalgericht gehört.

Fazit: Die Gerichte sind sehr authentisch und lassen dich in die Welt von Vietnam eintauchen. Geschmacks intensiv war es für den Preis...

This is a place to visit now. The menu is not too much which means fresh Made. It has selection for everyone.. very romantic atmosphere but when it's busy it does get to loud when guests start to scream their head off 😂 otherwise..it's designed as Street food restaurant inside.
