Hallo Kai & Team Having heard about WINE IN THE HOOD for a some time I am very happy to have spend some beautiful hours on your terrace and bar. Thank you for reviving your cheese fondue concept for one night for us, but I did love as well those delightful crafted charcuterie and cheese boards ( and from seeing / not tasting those yummy looking Pinza Salsiccia) Bar counter was crowned by a majestic yet modern and chic chandelier, display fridges and equipment top notch Artwork thought provoking and inspiring

Not to forget Kai and his lovely crew, well done guys it was absolutely worth to detour to wiesbaden and spend the night here - thank you for taking care of us - all the best from...

Shared a trusty aperitivo dinner here with my mom and we absolutely loved everything, especially the service. It’s a very small and cozy wine bar, great wine selection. And the sardines were really good. The only down side (for me, maybe not for others) was the bread selection as I did not find that the seed/oat bread went with this style of tapas. Ein ganz besonderes Geschmackserlebnis – Wermut-Tasting mit Stil! 🌿

Ich hatte das große Vergnügen, an einem Wermut-Tasting teilzunehmen – und ich bin absolut begeistert! Schon die Atmosphäre war wunderbar: stilvoll, entspannt und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Der Gastgeber/die Gastgeberin war nicht nur fachlich sehr kompetent, sondern hat auch mit Charme und Leidenschaft durch den Abend geführt.

Die Auswahl an Wermut-Sorten war beeindruckend – von klassischen, floralen Noten bis hin zu spannenden, modernen Interpretationen. Jeder Tropfen wurde mit interessanten Hintergrundinfos präsentiert, und ich habe einiges über Herstellung, Geschichte und die richtige Kombination mit Speisen und Cocktails gelernt. Besonders schön: Es wurde auch Raum gegeben, individuelle Eindrücke zu teilen und Fragen zu stellen.

Meine Highlights: ein feiner roter Wermut mit Kräuternoten und ein überraschend frischer weißer Wermut mit Zitrus – einfach himmlisch!

Für alle, die neugierig auf die Welt des Wermuts sind oder einfach einen besonderen Abend mit neuen Geschmackserlebnissen suchen, kann ich dieses Tasting von Herzen empfehlen. Ein echter Geheimtipp...
