Went to The Alley Bar by myself and from the moment I entered the space the staff made sure I was well taken care off and safe. At some point my phone's battery ran low, and the manager was able to charge it for me. They also offered to organise me a ride back to where I was staying.

They have a range of in-house beers and was offered a taste of each of them before selecting a drink.

The guy who man's the washrooms (apologies, I forgot his name) was such a vibe, he really took great care and attention to detail to the washroom experience. This is a space that is usually neglected especially at bars, but that wasn't the case at The Alley bar.

The space is very spacious and well designed. Loved the art!

Thank you so very much to the entire Alley team from the security guard, staff and managers for the hospitality. I come as one, but met so many people and left with amazing memories. I would highly recommend checking out The Alley...

This place is a reflection of what nuanced engineering can create!!🙌🏾This was an alley before y’all !!!. Although the space is narrow, the set up works perfectly with the space so it doesn’t feel closed in! The seating is ample, the music gave an Afro inspired house genre feel (if that makes sense) and the food! GIRL THE FOOD! I love love love seafood, and although Ghana is a coastal country it’s like impossible to find proper seafood, but Alleybar quenched my seafood thirst. The seafood plate I had large prawns, squid, calamari, scallops and delicious herb flavoured mashed potatoes. I can still taste it 😭😂❤️. I’m sure come December it’s going to be rammed with people so if you can visit it now please do so, so the authentic ambience isn’t altered by the...

Visited here on a Saturday night/Sunday morning. When I pulled up outside I thought it was a concert venue or a night club.

Inside the bar area was packed, great vibes. A double shot of baileys and a Guinness came out to be 45ghc. There is a less crowded area next to the bar, a repurposed garage, lots of space and high ceilings. Outside there is a lounge area with tables and hooka service.

The DJ played a great mix of afrobeats, hip hop, pop, and reggae. The crowd was very receptive, even though many were moreso engaged in their social media. I would guess the average age here was between 20-35, but the 6 people I was with were aged 49-50....

I visited on a Tuesday night so it was quite chill with only a few guests. The customizations of popular conventional cocktails at this bar is something I found rather intriguing. The Alomo fashioned, for instance, is a twist on the old fashioned cocktail with local alomo alcohol in addition to Whiskey. Per description, it delivered quite the punch! Another interesting drink was the Salaga mule made with local Apet dry gin instead of vodka. I'm already looking forward to another visit.
