I recently had the pleasure of visiting Barn Door Beergarden, and it turned out to be a delightful experience. The location boasts a spacious compound, complemented by a two-level seating arrangement indoors. The expansive seating provides a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.
Our visit coincided with their Saturday karaoke night, and it was a fantastic time. The diverse range of beers and special crafts they offer ensured there was something for everyone's taste. The selection was impressive, and the quality lived up to the expectations.
One minor challenge we encountered was the limited street parking, likely due to the proximity of their sister establishments—Alley Bar and Tree House Restaurant. However, this didn't overshadow the overall positive experience.
The casual ambiance added to the charm of the evening. It felt like a great spot to unwind, enjoy good company, and have a few drinks. The staff were friendly and contributed to the overall welcoming atmosphere.
In conclusion, Barn Door Beergarden is a recommendable spot for those looking for a spacious and inviting venue with a diverse beer selection. Despite the parking challenge, the overall experience, especially during events like Saturday karaoke, makes it a worthwhile visit. I look forward to returning for another...
Read moreI came in during the day for a meeting so I did not eat anything however the staff were very attentive to our needs (the group that was having the meeting). Some ordered food and commended the food. The pricing of the food was also actually better than i thought. It is a great place to hang out with friends and have a raucous time.
The house brew (beer) was particularly recommended. They serve Tale beer which is a local craft beer. It comes in a variety of flavours. I am not much of a beer person since a Shandy literally the farthest I ventured into beerland but connoisseurs (aka booze-men and women 😏🤣) I know have vouched for it.
I think this place would appeal to you the people-watchers who can have a good time watching other people have a good time. About ghc 300 is enough to buy something small, enjoy yourself and go back home. You can't really say the same for a lot of other places. I think Johnny Stone hosts a game day of sorts there on certain days. Saw that on a...
Read moreVisited on a Thursday night while in Accra and stumbled on their Trivia Thursday — such a fun and well-run quiz night! There were around 11 teams, with rounds covering music, current events, general knowledge, and even one on car brands named after animals. You get to use a wildcard to double your points in any round, which keeps things exciting. A highlight was the sudden-death dance-off game used to break a tie — full of energy and laughs. Overall, our team came in 4th place — not bad for first-timers!
It had a lively, intellectually engaging, and diverse crowd — felt like a gathering of sharp minds in a relaxed space. Music was great, service was good, and the space itself was simple but really pretty. Loved the wood and earthy tones. Only area for improvement: the bathrooms — they’re quite limited for a big crowd, and more sinks would definitely help.
Definitely a place I’d love to come back to — and next time, I’d love to try out...
