Enigma Sky Lounge — Restaurant in Accra

The only nice comment I have is that the sky bar is very aesthetically pleasing and cocktails are nice. However, when it comes to food, this is very questionable. My girls and I were seating promptly without a reservation and proceeded to order our food and drinks. We all decided to order a starter, mains and a side dish. The waiter came and took our orders. Roughly 35-40 mins later the waiter came back with the drinks, then 20 mins after that our starters came. So after about a total of 1hour, the waiter came back to say some of our mains were not in stock anymore as they had served the last one. After waiting 1 hour to be told this, I could tell that the lounge was more about aesthetics rather than delivering a good service. My girls and I had to reorder a main meal to which more than half of the menu was not available as the last meal that gone to someone else (might I add that no one else was eating or had ordered food). So we wait another 40 mins for our mains to come. After waiting another 40 mins. The waiter comes back to specifically tell me that my side dish of shrimp fried rice is not available but she has replaced it with beef fried rice. After starving for nearly 2 hours. I told the waiter to bring the food quickly. 10 mins later , the waiter brings out the food and the beef fried rice was very dry and very crunchy as if the veggies had not been cooked properly and my Seabass was extremely burnt and dry. My other girls food mash potatoes came out cold and the chicken was also cold and dry. I wouldn’t go back there, they wouldn’t exchange the food as there was nothing to exchange it with. Also they wouldn’t refund it as we had tasted the food ( their argument was that you should have looked at the meal to know whether you’d like it) also since it was punched in the system their was no way to change it. Enigma Sky Lounge is located in East Legon inside the luxury Signature apartments on the 11th floor. Date of Visit: 31/12/2024 Overall Rating: 4/5 Overall Experience: Enigma Sky Lounge offers a stunning setting with beautiful decor and a lively atmosphere. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, though I found it to be quite overpriced.

Service: The initial service was excellent with friendly staff greeting us and promptly seating us at our reserved table. However, the service significantly slowed down thereafter. I waited an unacceptable 30 minutes for a simple drinks order.

Atmosphere: The ambiance was electric with a party-club vibe and a DJ spinning the latest hits. While the music was loud, it didn't detract from our enjoyment.

Food: Ordered: Yam fries, shrimp fried rice, and chicken thighs with rice. All dishes were visually appealing and flavorful.

Highlight: The restaurant thoughtfully accommodated my sister's birthday by presenting a surprise cake with sparklers.

Lowlights: Price: The high prices are to be expected given the venue's location on the 11th floor of a luxury hotel. Slow Service: The extended wait for drinks was a major disappointment.

One of the worst lounges I've ever been to around the world. Upon arrival, we were almost turned away because someone in our party wasn't wearing heels despite wearing a dress and looking quite presentable. We then proceeded to sit for a good 45min before we were able to flag a waiter down to take our drink orders. We ordered two drinks which took a good hour before they arrived. One of the cocktails was quite warm and lukewarm and I asked to change it and get a freshly made one. I then watched as they took my drink back, left it on the bar and didn't do anything. 15min later, another waiter picked up the SAME drink and brought it to me and I refused, he took the drink back and left it again on the bar. Another 10min past and same thing. The waiter again picked up the SAME drink again and brought it to me. I qas livid because I had a clear view of the bar and watched the drink sit there for almost 30min and I was still presented with it despite originally complaining that it was warm and not cold as expected.

Very frustrated and just the worst experience ever at Enigma.
