HSI Orient Thai Restaurant - Suwimon — Restaurant in Accra

I was recommended to this restaurant via my air b n b. I checked the ratings and it seemed that the red curry was an ideal dish to order.

When mine arrived it resembled dirty sock water with bits of floating meat and eggplant. I told the server that it was awful and watery. She asked me if I wanted to have it recooked again and I declined. I also ordered a green ice tea that had a strange almost chemical after taste.

The cook came out and was clearly annoyed. He claimed that I didn't order the right curry and all curries are not the same. I quickly had to put him in his place. I showed him the review pictures and the short video I recorded (thank goodness I did). He continued with his nonsense...knowing clearly that what he served me was shyt.

Alas, do not waste your time or money. It is clear they are not consistent. Just imagine if I had ordered this as...

My new favorite Thai restaurant.

I will be honest, this is the first restaurant I have discovered via reading reviews by a fellow local guide. I just had to visit after seeing all the pictures and I challenged myself to post more pictures because this place turned out to be a real gem.

I ordered the beef phad Thai, beef stir fry , assorted meat fried rice and the thom yum prawn. The food looked so good I started eating before taking pictures. Love everything!!! I am visiting again today, I mean why not!!!!

Service was also good and the thai green and red iced teas with lemon were refreshing.
