My five-star rating should tell you the uniqueness of the place. The restaurant is a harmonious fusion of impeccable ambiance, exceptional service, and culinary mastery. As you step inside, the warm and inviting atmosphere envelops you, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The attentive staff exudes genuine hospitality, ensuring your every need is met with a smile. A very serene place for lunch and dinner dates. There is an outdoor garden area that is usually open on weekends. First of all you need a reservation to visit the place which I think is a good initiative to avoid unnecessary crowd. I visited the place on a Tuesday with no reservation but was fortunate enough to get a very nice place to sit. Don’t expect to get a menu handed over to you there 😂, you’d have to scan the barcode for the entire menu of the place.Their meals is 💯 😍, I had grilled chicken and it’s exterior is perfectly charred, giving a satisfying crunch with every bite, while the interior remains succulent and tender. The smoky aroma intertwines with the savory seasoning, creating an enticing fragrance that makes your mouth water. Each forkful reveals a harmonious blend of juicy meat and a subtle hint of the grill’s smokiness, making it an utterly satisfying and mouthwatering dish. The restaurant tends to be on the pricier side 🫣, reflecting its dedication to premium ingredients, exquisite presentation, and an upscale...
Read moreI would suggest better training of the petite young lady at the reception with the short bob hairstyle. My friend and I came for dinner, both lawyers, over 30 and dressed in classy black dresses. We had on cute shiny designer slides. We were approached aggressively by her and told that the text confirmation says no slippers. Well, I believe in dress codes but there are slippers and there are slides. She then pointed to a young lady entering in heels and said that those are the shoes to be worn and that is the instruction of the owner. I can't wear heels as I have a bad ankle, and I am not wearing heels for dinner anyway. She then told us maybe we could eat downstairs at Soho instead but that we should leave. The security then stepped in and said he would let us enter and take responsibility. When we entered I was shocked to see a girl in rubber sandals and a young man in sneakers. The crowd was far less than fancy and the place was half empty. I was disappointed, decided to take my business elsewhere and got up to leave. I can't imagine them telling an older lady they have to have heels on.
The waiter was very sorry about it. The decor inside was beautiful and there was a pianist.
We went to Ilona, food was lovely, crowd was sophisticated and we were...
Read moreWe were almost refused by a french lady at reception today. According to her, we were not dressed according to the restaurant's dress code. We are not from town and her delivery of telling us about thier policy is poor she needs customer service training. Any way we were allowed to enter only to find that the place was actually empty . The waitress was attentive, but the food is over priced and not upto standard. The herb crusted lamb chops had no herb crust. The 3 chops were different sizes so although I asked for medium well I got 1 medium 1 well done and 1 that just needed to go back in the oven. Mash potatoes were cold, seabass was bland, abd the icecream with my dessert was icicles because the icecream was obviously melted and then refrozen. The appetisers were nice but the portion and price are worlds apart. If your going to do high end it needs to be done well. Maybe the initial encounter with the hostess left a bad taste in my mouth but I wouldn't say our meals were...
