My friends and I went to this restaurant while we were in Accra for work. We arrived at around 8:15, and we did not get to eat for at least an 1.5 hours. It's almost like they did not know what to do with our orders; like it's not a restaurant. The people who ordered beers got theirs pretty fast, but the rest of us who obtained our drink maybe 15min after the first people had gotten their. One of my friends waited for at least 1h45min for her food, she was the very last to receive it. At this point, we were no longer hungry. I ordered and entree (simple salad) + a chicken burger + fried. The chicken burger came first after 1.15 hours and the salad came at the very last 30min later. Oh & the plantain came like 5min after that. Make it make sense. There were a ton of servers walking around, but it didn't seem like any of them were doing much of anything. After we started complaining of why were some people being served and others had to wait for another 20 min to get their food; they started avoiding our area. At the end, I was really wondering what was going on; seriously did they have an accident in the kitchen; no chefs; they had to go to the market and buy ingredients; someboody got ill. We'll never know. But for a Marriot, the service was incredibly dissapointing. The hotel in itself is...

There was only one waitress for our section and she was very slow. The buffet selection was not as extensive as the price suggested. The staff at the buffet counter were polite enough but the most of the food was cold. The music however 👌 that's why I gave them 2 stars. Hopefully if I do decide to come here again, the situation should have improved. Point to note, make sure to book at least 48 hours in advance for a party of 10+ and also if you want to throw a birthday dinner or any other...
Read moreWe were attracted by the special Saturday Indian Buffet and we decided to go. We personally didn’t find the buffet “Indian” with the exception of a few typical Indian dishes, and not everything was available. The worst part is the service….from not knowing the difference between Gin&Tonic and GingerAle, to making us waiting 30min for a Club beer…or just not giving the minimal required attention to our table…An experience we won’t repeat...
