Lithero — Restaurant in Argostoli Municipality

A huge disappointment – this place is seriously overrated. The restaurant was only half full, yet several tables were marked as "taken". We sat down at a seemingly free table, but after a long wait, we were rudely told to get up because that table was also “reserved”. In my opinion, if a table isn’t clearly marked as reserved, it’s not appropriate to tell guests off after they’ve already sat down.

The middle-aged waiter was especially rude and blunt, telling us we couldn't stay there and that they would show us where to sit. They then offered us a table right next to the gate and parked cars — not exactly a pleasant spot. At that point, we decided to leave.

Luckily, we found a cheaper and friendlier restaurant elsewhere in the village. We will never return here. Definitely not...

Our local rep recommended Lithero - wish we hadn't listened! Got there about 7.30, and given a table. Order taken - so far, so good. Two crab salad starters were soon found to be shredded crabsticks - which are nothing like proper crab meat. Two other starters ok at best. House rose - possibly the worst ever house wine we have had. Mains....Tuna steak with cold rice!....grilled sardines - the tiniest sardines I have ever seen, thought I had been given large whitebait, cold chips, and a salad. Two other mains were okay. Service - mmm, put it this way, I was still getting towards the end of my starter, and the mains turned up - felt they wanted us out asap. Couldn't wait to leave Best seafood in the area?-...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Fantastic Turnaround! This seaside gem is finally living up to its potential under the new management. The difference is night and day compared to how it used to be. Everything is cleaner, more organized, and the atmosphere is relaxed yet professional.

The staff are attentive and welcoming, and the service was genuinely excellent from start to finish. As for the food—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can really tell they care about quality now.

It’s so nice to see a place like this make a real comeback. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and craving good...
