Kaminia Beach Kantina — Restaurant in Argostoli Municipality

We visited in October to use the beach in the afternoon and bought drinks here.

The drinks prices were higher than others locally. 5 Euros for a can of Mythos with a little plastic cup seemed a bit too much.

There was no queue, however a table had some issues with their food that the two staff were trying to deal with. I think this could have been managed by one of them. Unfortunately this left no one to see to new customers for 15 minutes stood at the bar.

It was helpful to be able to use their showers and toilet though.

Unfortunately we were also charged 7 Euros for the sundbeds despite this not being advertised/signposted. The norm for the area in October seemed to be beds were free for customers so it took us...

What a lovely quaint Greek Kantina,serving traditional quick snacks and drinks right on the beach ⛱️ ,lovely welcoming lady and her family if you eat here for breakfast/ lunch then the sunbeds and parasol are free( keep the receipt as proof) showers 🚿 toilets 🚻 and car parking available, slight slope of wooden pallets onto the beach itself, but if you go steady it ok,definitely going back here tomorrow, just be careful of the Carretta Carretta ( Loggerhead turtles 🐢) nesting sights, they are marked like...

We have been visiting this charming cantina for many years now..we walk all the way from Katelios just so we can have lunch here.

The Greek salad is lovely and the kind lady owner doesn't mind me swapping the Feta which I am not keen on to an hard cheese...the chips are home made and taste great....All the food that we have had over the years has been lovely.

Also love the copper wine jugs and the tiny glasses that you get...so authentic.
