Octopus Mezze Bar — Restaurant in Argostoli Municipality

This is a great little spot at the northern end of the Poros seafront. We used their sun beds all day (just two rows on a nice pebble beach) and joined them for lunch, late afternoon. The food was great (the chips deserve a special mention, hand cut and the best so far on this holiday!) - as was the service by the hard working ladies running the place. We particularly liked the way they managed their sun beds. We paid in the cafe on arrival, as we were getting iced coffees for the beach - but the staff bring slices of complimentary watermelon around as they are checking them later in the morning, a nice touch, we thought. A nice relaxed little spot on a stretch of the seafront that you could easily miss out on visiting, but which ticked all the right boxes for us...

Update(2022): We had the opportunity to visit this year as well and let me tell you, the food is just so goooood! We placed a big order this time and we were beyond satisfied. The service was lovely again and we got desert on the house after we finished. Honestly the BEST place to go if you want to go to the sea and then grab something to eat. And as always, from decor to food everything was perfect! . Went there the summer of 2021 and 2020 and honestly still waiting to go again. It's a lovely place for the area that doesn't have a lot of tourist attractions. Service was super nice, kinda slow but that's summer tempo, the food was delicious and the view was amazing. The place is cute, the service is quite rude and impolite. I visited this place with a friend. We ordered a coffee and orange juice. juice was like a a bit of jam mixed with a water and it was very warm. When I said I didn’t like the juice, it wasn’t that good, manager instead of asking how they can make it better, said I think you never tried a real orange juice, we are in an orange country bla bla. Then she refused to get the payment for the coffee as well which was even more impolite.
